Their mission is not going to be an easy one as Stellenbosch and their coach Steve Barker have ambitions of their own.

Bizana Pondo Chiefs vs Cape Town All Stars
Date: Thursday, 4 February 2021

Another fixture that has pitted together two teams from the GladAfrica Championship and they go into this clash with nothing much separating them on the log. Bizana Chiefs have started their life in the GladAfrica Championship with some difficulty as they are currently sitting bottom of the log and it remains to be seen if they will put their best foot forward in the Nedbank Cup. CT All Stars have also not had things their own way in the league as they 3rd from the bottom in the league and they will be hoping for a good performance that will boost their morale.

Golden Arrows vs AmaZulu
Date: Saturday, 6 February 2021

The KwaZuLu-Natal derby has the potential to be exciting because coach Benni McCarthy of AmaZulu and Mandla Ncikazi of Golden Arrows likes their teams to play free flowing and attacking football. They have both started the season well in the PSL with Arrows occupying position 6th and AmaZulu directly below them on 7th.

Chippa United vs Free State Stars
Date: Sunday, 7 February 2021

This is a potential banana skin for Chippa United as Free State Stars have shown much improvement in the GladAfrica Championship recently with two successive victories since they appointed Allan Freeze as coach in December. On the other hand, Chippa lost their last league match to Sundowns were they were out of sorts and could have lost by a bigger margin.

Swallows vs Cape United
Date: Sunday, 7 February 2021

The high-flying Swallows will be overwhelming favourites to book a place in the next round against Cape United. Date: Sunday, 7 February 2021

Date: Sunday, 7 February 2021

For obvious reasons of cup pedigree, Chiefs will be firm favourites to win this match and progress to the next round. But it is not going to be that easy as Richards Bay is one of the form teams in the GladAfrica Championship where they are sitting second on the log and have not lost in their last five matches.

Baroka vs Cape Town Spurs
Date: Monday, 8 February 2021

Baroka have been inconsistent this season in the PSL but they should have enough in the tank and in terms of experience to get the better of struggling Cape Town Spurs who are sitting second from the bottom in the GladAfrica Championship.
