The 2019 edition of the Nedbank Golf Challenge gets underway at the Gary Player Course in South Africa. The Sun City event began in 1981 and it has since become one of the flagship events on the European Tour. With winning alumni including Lee Westwood, Ernie Els and Sergio Garcia, it is established as one of the key events in the world calendar and with over $7 million to play for, it promises to be another unforgettable event in 2019.

Chinese superstar Haotong Li has enjoyed a really solid season on the European Tour and his first two rounds at the WGC HSBC in Shanghai last month are testament to his playing abilities at this level.

American Kurt Kitayama was another man locked in a play-off in Turkey last week. Although he came up short, he will take a lot of confidence from his performance and he should go well here.
