It has been a frustrating season for Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri, and it seemed as though it has finally taken its toll if the training session before their matchup against Arsenal was anything to go by.

The Italian is no stranger to showing his anger in front of the world’s media; after understandably thrown his toys out of the pram in the League Cup final when Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to be taken off ahead of the penalty shootout. However, he was visibly upset once again in yesterday’s final training session before the Europa League final; in which a clash between David Luiz and Gonzalo Higuain appeared too much for Sarri to take in.

The Chelsea pair clashed after having words moment before the altercation. Luiz tackled Higuain, and the Argentine wasn’t happy. He pushed Luiz, and that’s when Sarri threw off his cap and stormed down the tunnel.

The pressure is on Sarri to deliver in the final, and he will be buoyed by the fact that the club is the BetXChange favourites to beat Arsenal.

It could be the final time that Sarri sits in the manager’s chair for Chelsea, with rumours circulating that he could be the next Juventus manager. It certainly wouldn’t be a bad move for either party with the relationship between manager and fans’ non-existent. At least the Europa League final will give the manager to leave with a piece of silverware.
