Two big derbies in the Italian Serie A are coming up this way on Sunday. Juventus awaits Napoli in Turin, while on the other side, Inter Milan travels to Roma to face the motivated hosts.

Juventus vs. Napoli Preview and Prediction

Juve is still the no.1 favorite to win the title, even though they look a bit weaker than in the previous campaign. Still, that is just the first impression since the start of the season. After beating Sampdoria in the first round, 3-0, they managed to pull out one point in Rome, 2-2. That match wasn’t anything special for Pirlo’s guys, and if it weren’t for Ronaldo to save them once again, the Old Lady would be in a beck of trouble.

Five of their previous matches ended with over 2.5 goals, and during that time, just one didn’t see Juventas netting twice.

Napoli began the season with an 8-0 series and two big wins over Parma on the road 0-2, and Genoa at home, 6-0. Gattuso’s guys indicated excellent form, and are going to Allianz Stadium without any fears.

Over a recent couple of years, the team from the south of Italy saw some turbulent and frustrating outcomes. Losing the title even though having a solid advantage to Juve, nasty breakups with players and coaches, and multiple other episodes. Finally, they would snatch a trophy when expected the least, capturing the Coppa Italia previous year, and they now have no pressure on their backs.

The logical solution for this game would be to bet on over 2.5 goals, as both sides have strong attacks and rely upon offensive abilities more than on defense. Odds here are 0.89 at BetXChange.

Lazio vs. Inter Milan Preview and Prediction

The Eagles suffered a hard defeat to Atalanta at home this midweek, 1-4, which pretty much shook their confidence. It was evident during that event that Lazio doesn’t have a proper answer to the rival’s attacks, and that their back line has numerous flaws.

Instead of adding a few players to its roster during this summer, the management was passive, probably believing that the present squad has enough depth and quality to be among the top four teams and secure another UCL appearance. After seeing how they cracked under Atalanta’s pressure, we highly doubt in that plan.

Lazio has numerous problems with injured players. Luiz Felipe, Lulic, Proto, Vavro, and the newcomer Muriqi all skipping this match.

Inter had a wild few days. At first, Nerazzurri came on top against Fiorentina, beating Viola 4-3 after a huge comeback in the last minutes of the game. Four days later, Conte’s side trashed Benevento on the road with 2-5, proving their offensive capacities.

Romelu Lukaku has three goals, Lautaro Martinez two. We need to add that Achraf Hakimi, who recently joined from Borussia Dortmund, also scored, indicating that Inter received a new quality with him in the lineup.

This season is do or die for the team from Milan, and each derby is of the crucial importance for them, because they need to start winning big games.

With the odds on Inter’s triumph set at 1.20 at BetXChange, we aren’t going to look further in this case. The team from Meazza is better than Lazio, and they have the motive to defeat the Eagles following their most recent meeting in which the team from Rome rallied back to post a 2-1 victory.
