Liverpool ended their 30-year wait for a Premier League title in midweek, following Manchester City’s loss to Chelsea and the reds are sure to have their sights set on a record-breaking season. Whilst City look to have a place in the top 4 sewn up, the race is on for Leicester, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Wolves – who are all pursuing Champions League football next season. At the bottom of the table, the likes of Watford, Brighton, Aston Villa and Bournemouth all look to be slipping towards the Championship – along with Norwich City who look too far adrift.
Here are our picks for the next round of fixtures in the Premier League:
Norwich City vs Brighton
Norwich have struggled for rhythm and form all season – particularly since the season restart and although Brighton were well beaten by Manchester United last time out, they should have too much for the Canaries here.
Score Prediction – Norwich City 0 – 2 Brighton @ 10.42
Betxchange Best Bet – Brighton to win the match – 1.30
Leicester City vs Crystal Palace
Leicester need to keep picking up points in pursuit of a top 4 finish and have yet to win since the season restart whilst Palace have lost their last 2 fixtures. This could be tighter than people anticipate but Leicester should prevail here.
Score Prediction – Leicester City 2 – 1 Crystal Palace @ 8.45
Betxchange Best Bet – Both teams to score – YES – 1.11
Manchester United vs Bournemouth
Manchester United are unbeaten since the season resumption and look in great form and although Bournemouth are scrapping for their lives, this should be a comfortable home win for the Red Devils.
Score Prediction – Manchester United 3 – 0 Bournemouth @ 5.98
Betxchange Best Bet – Manchester United to be winning at half time and full time – 0.65
Wolves vs Arsenal
Wolves have aspirations of a top 4 finish and have looked in great form recently and whilst Arsenal showed resilience to progress to the FA Cup semi-finals – Wolves should win this one at home.
Score Prediction – Wolves 2 – 1 Arsenal @ 8.81
Betxchange Best Bet – Both teams to score – YES – 0.83
Chelsea vs Watford
Watford will put up a real fight at Stamford Bridge as they aim to stay in the Premier League, but Chelsea are in excellent form and should have no issues at home here.
Score Prediction – Chelsea 3 – 0 Watford @ 9.20
Betxchange Best Bet – First Goal Scorer: Willian – 5.15
Burnley vs Sheffield United
Sheffield United have looked off the pace since returning to Premier League action but they should come away with a point from a trip to Burnley, with the Clarets having been inconsistent all season.
Score Prediction – Burnley 1 – 1 Sheffield United @ 5.09
Betxchange Best Bet – The match for finish as a draw – 1.97
Newcastle United vs West Ham United
Newcastle have played some excellent football under Steve Bruce this season and look to be all but mathematically safe whilst West Ham are sliding towards the drop and need to pick up points here.
Score Prediction – Newcastle United 1 – 1 West Ham United @ 5.31
Betxchange Best Bet – The match for finish as a draw – 2.28
Liverpool vs Aston Villa
Liverpool wrapped up their maiden Premier League title last week and could be playing some champagne football and they should have too much about them for relegation threatened Aston Villa.
Score Prediction – Liverpool 3 – 0 Aston Villa @ 8.51
Betxchange Best Bet – Both teams to score – NO – 0.97
Southampton vs Manchester City
Manchester City are sure to have both the FA Cup and Champions League on their mind at St Mary’s but they should still have enough about them against a much-improved Southampton side.
Score Prediction – Southampton 1 – 3 Manchester City @ 10.34
Betxchange Best Bet – Both teams to score – YES – 0.89
Tottenham vs Everton
Tottenham will be looking to keep the pressure on in pursuit of a top 4 finish whilst Everton will be looking to continue their strong recent form and this one could end up all square in North London.
Score Prediction – Tottenham 1 – 1 Everton @ 5.78
Betxchange Best Bet – First Goal Scorer: Harry Kane – 1.21
