The international break is over, and the English Premier League is coming back. Gameweek 12 is on the menu, and BetXchange is here to give you a few tips on all ten matches with odds from our favorite sportsbook.
Leicester VS Chelsea
The Foxes spent the first third of the Premiership without their usual rhythm, not being able to provide consistency. In recent times they did show some improvement, but the results weren’t there. Nine of their last 10 games were with both teams to score. On the other side, the international break came in handy for the Blues, who began to lose pace, but still posted wins along the road. They didn’t allow a goal in five of the previous seven events.
Pick: 2 or 3 goals 1.10 at BetXchange
Aston Villa VS Brighton
Steven Gerrard debuts on Villa’s bench, and Liverpool’s legend will have a decent opponent. The Seagulls aren’t unbeatable, with six straight matches without a victory and a few injured starters. Meanwhile, Villa posted five losses in a row, but that is all erased with Steve-G’s arrival. We are going with the hosts here, because of this morale boost.
Pick: Aston Villa 1.45 at BetXchange
Burnley VS Crystal Palace
This matchup has the potential to be one of the most boring in the entire round. We all know how both the Clarets and the Eagles tend to play once meeting defensive-minded teams, therefore, our pick here is under 2.5 goals.
Pick: Under 2.5 goals 0.66 at BetXchange
Watford VS Manchester United
The situation inside United’s locker room is highly unstable, with some rumors that Ronaldo and Bruno don’t want Solskjaer around anymore. This is a match for the Red Devils in which they simply need to win, and anything but that would be a sensational outcome.
Pick: United 0.45 at BetXchange
Norwich VS Southampton
The Canaries have the new manager, with Dean Smith taking over the wheel, but we really don’t think that he might change the overall situation in the team. On the other side, the Saints, who showed some signs of life with four consecutive EPL matches without a defeat, have a nice opportunity for a victory.
Pick: Southampton 1.05 at BetXchange
Newcastle VS Brentford
The Magpies, too, have a new manager, Eddie Howe, who got the honor and a huge responsibility in starting the new era of this team. Newcastle hosts Brentford, who started the season well, but slowed down as time went by. The Bees currently have four consecutive defeats in the EPL. This will be their fifth, it seems.
Pick: Newcastle 1.62 at BetXchange
Wolves VS West Ham
This is one of the closest and the most interesting matches of the round, in our opinion. The Wolves started playing well before the international break, while West Ham plays well all the time. Four of the past five matches Wolverhampton played saw both teams scoring, while three of the recent four of the Hammers ended in the same manner.
Pick: Both teams to score 0.75 at BetXchange
Liverpool VS Arsenal
Even though the guests didn’t lose in the past 10 games, betting on anything else than on L’Pool’s win would be a bad choice here. Therefore, that is our pick. Clean and simple.
Pick: Liverpool 0.45 at BetXchange
Manchester City VS Everton
The Citizens hope to start a new winning streak following a strong performance over United. They host the pale Everton, who have been without a victory in the last five games. Common sense forces us to bet on the hosts’ win, even though it is pretty low.
Pick: Man City 0.14 at BetXchange
Tottenham VS Leeds
Antonio Conte debuts on the Spurs’ bench, and he has a pretty nice chance to start his tenure in London with a win. Leeds isn’t anywhere near the last year’s level of performance, and that is why we believe that the hosts should take all three points.
Pick: Tottenham 0.70 at BetXchange
