2023 Laver Cup Bet Preview
The 6th edition of the Laver Cup is set to get underway in Vancouver, Canada, as Team World hosts Team Europe over three fascinating days of action in British Colombia.

Team World
Five of the six players in the Team World squad hail from the USA and Canada, giving a real sense of a home fixture to these matchups in Vancouver. Youngsters Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz headline a Team World side that houses some of the most exciting prospects in world tennis and both carry the expectant hopes of an American nation with them, in every tournament they play.
Fresh off good runs at the US Open and Wimbledon, Ben Shelton and Tommy Paul are very much the next cabs off the rank for America too and with all 4 players ranked inside the top 20 in the world, the future certainly looks bright for both the USA and Team World moving forwards.
Home favourite Felix Auger-Aliassime is another player who looks to be on the cusp of something great in world tennis, whilst Francisco Cerundolo is an exciting Argentine that has plenty of potential too.
Whilst there is an unproven and untapped look to this Team World team, they will be enjoying the innocence of youth and they will be doing all they can to retain the Laver Cup title on home soil.
Team Europe
It very much feels like a changing of the guard within Team Europe, as the elder statesman of Federer, Djokovic, and Nadal all unavailable for selection, with fellow big names Stefanos Tsitsias, Dominic Thiem and Alexander Zverev also missing out.
Andrey Rublev and Casper Ruud are the only two European players in the top 10 in the world currently and they will be seen as the experienced pair in pursuit of points in Vancouver. Pole Hubert Hurkacz and Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina are the also operating in the top 20 in the ATP rankings and they too will have plenty of heavy lifting to do.
Two players at the opposite ends of the spectrum in French tennis make up the European squad, with youngster Arthur Fils and talisman Gael Monfils completing a lineup that poses plenty of questions but could prove to be a masterstroke in terms of selection by Bjorn Borg.

Few players on the ATP Tour are as cut out for big pressure matches as Frances Tiafoe, with the American continuing to prove his worth at this level. This should be tailormade for Tiafoe and he could be hugely influential in getting Team World over the line.
