The Champions League returns this midweek, and we are here to cover all the most important matches. The biggest one, without a doubt, takes place in Barcelona, where the hosts clash with Bayern Munich in a derby of the titans.
Other than that, we’ll see Liverpool visiting Leipzig, which only recently got Jurgen Klopp as its head of the academy. The whole Red Bull program, not the team from East Germany, but it’s still interesting to see this one.
The replay of the last UEFA Champions League finals between Real Madrid and Dortmund is also on the menu. It doesn’t attract as much attention as some would think, yet for us, it’s a definite must-see.
Here are all the UCL Odds at one link.
Barcelona vs. Bayern Munich Preview
The Blaugrana enters this match following a 5-1 win over Sevilla, riding a three-game winning streak. Former Bayern duo, head coach Flick and striker Lewandowski perfectly clicked, and Barca looks pretty impressive with them in charge. To be honest, the German manager only copied the tactics and the system from his days when he led the Bavarians, and that gave fantastic results.

Bayern’s performances are shaky. They defeated Stuttgart 4-0 last Saturday, though; we need to say that the Bavarians scored all their goals in the second half. This was the first win for Germany’s finest after three in a row in which they couldn’t triumph, which only tells that Vincent Kompany is still trying to find the right tactics and chemistry.
When looking at the overall situation and the form of the two respective teams, things are more or less even, with the favorite status leaning towards Barcelona. Though, when we add that Musiala won’t play for Bayern, we get to the conclusion that it’s better to bet on Barcelona’s win.
RB Leipzig vs. Liverpool Preview
Leipzig is the team that oscillates a lot. Yet they have the quality to beat any given rival in Europe. Every bookie needs to have this on his mind when betting on the Bulls. They were better than Mainz this weekend, winning 0-2 on the road and finishing everything inside the first 45 minutes. In four of the past five games, this team didn’t concede.
Liverpool was better than Chelsea, 2-1, after a fierce 90 minutes during which they deserved to take all three points. That’s a fact, regardless of what everyone thinks. Slot’s crew racked up seven straight victories, in all but one netting two or more goals, keeping three clean sheets along the way.
RB’s approach will be defensive-minded, with a focus on fast counter-attacks and set pieces. Liverpool won’t be keen to press too hard because of Leipzig’s pace, which is unbelievable. So, even though pretty much everyone expects a high-scoring affair, we are taking a moderate efficiency, which would be two or three goals.
Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund Predictions
Real is struggling but keeps winning. Los Blancos’ results aren’t impressive at all, and we can say even worse about their performances. But at the end of 90 minutes, Ancelotti and the boys usually take all three points. The latest in lime of Real’s victims was Celta on the road, 1-2. Now, given that they lost the previous UCL game to Lille, this is a must-win for Mbappe and the unit.

Borussia is playing completely differently on the road and at home, though they have six points in the UCL and top the standings. That was due to slightly weaker rivals, but now, true challenges are coming. Some would add a reality check. The Millionaires didn’t impress against St. Pauli last Friday, winning 2-1 in the finish. This was their seventh match with three or more goals and their sixth during that span, with both teams delivering.
Our pick here is Real, who needs to win at home and has everything on its side to accomplish that. Borussia isn’t too successful away from Signal Iduna. Therefore, Los Blancos are our choice.
