The recently names World Number 1 came into into the ATP Finals with very mixed emotions. Expectations have been high from the world number one both from his fans and from himself but his recent match win against Marin Cilic has proved that he’s ready for what’s in store.
Says a tennis expert about the match on Monday “Murray showed why he is the world No 1. It’s all about the big points and big moments. It couldn’t get any better. He was nervous coming into the match, got off a little bit shaky, was down a few break points, saved them, found a way to close out that first set. Then he went into cruise control and started playing as well as he can.”
Murray faces Kei Nishkori on Wednesday 16th November in his second round robin match.
