Kaizer Chiefs VS Maritzburg United
Amakhosi take on Maritzburg United at the FNB Stadium in a DSTV Premiership match on Tuesday the 9th of August and they will be looking to get their season back on track after a disappointing 1-0 loss against Royal AM in their opening game of the 2022/2023 DSTV Premiership on Saturday.
Maritzburg United opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Sekhukhune United at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Saturday.
An interesting statistic to look into is the fact that Amakhosi conceded an early goal in the second minute of the game while Maritzburg United scored a late equalizer in the 85th minute of their game, however they also conceded an early goal.
Both teams will be looking to work on starting the game well and finishing strong as they know all too well how a short lapse of concentration can cost them.

“I want to do better than I’ve ever done. I want to win something with the team, so I’ll keep on working hard individually,” said Billiat.
Billiat added that he cannot win the title by himself and it will require a team effort from Kaizer Chiefs.
“As a team, we also need everyone to realize that we need to get something at the end of the season.”
Meanwhile Maritzburg United will be looking to Tshegofatso Mabasa to continue where he left off against Sekhukhune United and find the back of the net.
