1.Hermoso MundoWho will win the eLan Gold Cup?
Likely to start as favourite but could find strong competition from Krambambuli and Captain Splendid, both Justin Snaith trained horses. Captain Splendid finished a head behind Hermoso Mundo giving the Marwing runner 1.5kg.
2. Krambambuli
Krambambuli won the Highland Night Cup prior to running an excellent fourth by less than half a length in the Vodacom Durban July where the 2 200m was short of his best trip. Could this be a defining race for Krambambuli?
3. Captain Splendid
Most recently won the Lonsdale Stirrup Cup, ahead of My World. A strong Justin Snaith trained contender to watch on the day, Captain Splendid has a few tricks up his sleeves when it comes to racing these distances.
