Round 25 of the English Premier League kicks off this Friday with the match between Wolves and Leeds United. Preview and predictions for this, as well as for all other games of this gameweek, can be found here, in the remaining part of this article.
Wolves vs. Leeds
Both sides are inconsistent, but the Peacocks are in better shape apparently, Wolves are wasting matches at home, and even when they get the point, it is more due to the luck and hard defense than some meaningful play. On the other side, Leeds attacks and creates chances, and it’s no wonder why four of their previous five games ended with three or more goals.
Pick: Leeds or draw 0.57 at BetXChange
Southampton vs. Chelsea
Since Thomas Tuchel arrived, the Blues have allowed just one goal. Chelsea has five wins in a row, and is looking perfect, which is why they have high hopes from a visit to struggling Saints, who posted four losses and one win in the last five events. We predict a tough and fierce clash, with goals on just one side.
Pick: Both teams not to score 1.00 at BetXChange
Burnley vs. West Brom
The Baggies are slowly heading towards the bottom of the standings, with them having just one win (vs. Wolves, 2-3) in ages. On the other side, the Clarets were solid last week, picking four points from clashes with Crystal Palace and Fulham, and we expect them to extend that streak.
Pick: Burnley 1.00 at BetXChange
Liverpool vs. Everton
The Reds regained a bit of their lost morale, beating RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League, 0-2, and that will undoubtedly come in handy against the hated enemy. Everton lost two in a row, both at home, vs. Fulham and Man City in the span of four days, and we predict to see yet another loss for Carlo Ancelotti’s boys.
Pick: Liverpool 0.44 at BetXChange
Fulham vs. Sheffield United
If there is an important game for the Cottagers this year, it is this one. With a win here, Scott Parker’s side remains in the race for surviving, and probably shrinks the gap they have now. Fulham simply needs to beat the Blades, who are oscillating lately, posting wins and losses subsequently; otherwise, the prospects for staying in the EPL will be very low.
Pick: Fulham 1.15 at BetXChange
West Ham vs. Tottenham
Hammers have problems with injuries, with Antonio, their leading striker, questionable for this one. This is an extremely important game for them, needing to win to stay in the Champions League race. The same goes for the Spurs, who showed signs of life against Wolfsberger in the Europa League, beating the Austrians on the road, 1-4.
Pick: Both Teams to Score 0.75 at BetXChange
Manchester United vs. Newcastle
The Red Devils were also confident in the Europa League, beating Real Sociedad on the road, 0-4, and proving that they play much better on the road than at home. As for the Magpies, they are tough to predict recently, having wins and losses one after another. However, United shouldn’t have any trouble with them.
Pick: Manchester United -1.5 0.90 at BetXChange
Arsenal vs. Manchester City
We won’t take too much of your time here. Arsenal looks very pale over the past few games, and even in a 4-2 win over Leeds, the second half was atrocious. So City wins here without problems.
Pick: Manchester City 0.50 at BetXChange
Aston Villa vs. Leicester
This is the match to avoid. We are serious about this statement. It could go either way, and every outcome is possible here. If you ask us, under 2.5 goals is the best choice.
Pick: Under 2.5 goals 0.72 at BetXChange
Brighton vs. Crystal Palace
The Seagulls have just one defeat in the last eight games, and it wasn’t even in the Premier League. They are in excellent shape, unlike Palace who doesn’t have a bit of consistency. That is why we back up the hosts to win this event.
Pick: Brighton 0.70 at BetXChange
