Round 4 of the English Premier League is about to start, and we have several very interesting matches coming our way. Stay tuned with BetXchange to see which ones are those and check out our picks.
Southampton VS Manchester United
Following a win over Liverpool, Manchester heads for St. Mary’s Stadium with high hopes. On the other side, the Saints are coming off a win on the road in Leicester, 1-2, and they too have an ambitious plan for this event.
All three games Southampton played ended with both teams scoring, while on the other side, two of United’s contests this year saw the same thing. That one that didn’t was a 4-0 loss in Brentford.
We believe these two sides are on the rise, and we should witness an open and offensive-minded event. Therefore, both teams scoring is the best choice in our opinion.
Pick: Both teams to score 3/5 at BetXchange
Brentford VS Everton
The Bees play very good and exciting football. Each time they hit the field, the fans have something to see. All three EPL games this year, Brentford played ended with at least four goals.
On the other side, we have the Toffees, who are one of the main contenders for relegation. The fans are criticizing Frank Lampard, but we say that the former Chelsea legend doesn’t have a competitive squad and that much better managers than him couldn’t do anything at Goodison.
The Bees are very good these days, and we predict their victory. The level of play this unit produces is much higher than Everton’s, and on top of that, the hosts will crush the Toffees with their offense.
Pick: Brentford 21/20 at BetXchange
Liverpool VS Bournemouth
This is maybe the easiest game for predicting this weekend. Really, Liverpool doesn’t have any choice but to throw everything they got at the Cherries, post one big victory, and snap out of the crisis. Nunez is suspended, yet still, Salah, Diaz, Firminho and others should crack Bournemouth’s defense.
The guests have one hell of a schedule these days, losing first in Manchester to City, 4-0, then at home to Arsenal, 0-3 and now traveling to Anfield.
Our pick here is simple, Liverpool to cover a -1.5-goal handicap.
Pick: Liverpool -1.5 1/4 at BetXchange
Arsenal VS Fulham
On one side, we have Arsenal’s fantastic forwards, and on the other, Mitrovic, whose been on fire the last year and a half. A small London derby promises good fun, with two teams that play efficient and attractive football.
Arsenal looks very well so far, and they play the fastest and the most efficient football in the Premiership. On the other side, we have the Cottagers who aren’t backing out against anyone, and we’ve seen that against Liverpool. Mitrovic singlehandedly destroyed the Reds’ defense back then.
Three or more goals are what we pick in this case, despite the fact that everyone goes with Arsenal. We believe that high efficiency is a better solution.
Pick: Over 2.5 goals 1/2 at BetXchange
Nottingham Forest VS Tottenham
The game that closes the round takes place at City Ground in Nottingham. The hosts won four points in the past two games, beating West Ham at home and playing a draw on the road at Goodison. This unit’s matches aren’t very efficient, and all three were with under 2.5 scores.
As for the Spurs, they have two wins and a draw in the opening three EPL games. Antonio Conte’s unit looks very good, and they are one of the dark horses for the title.
We think Tottenham has enough power to beat the hosts and take all three points. The Spurs look confident and adaptable to any rival, plus their team is more experienced than Nottingham’s.
Pick: Tottenham 1/2 at BetXchange
