Gameweek 6 of the English Premier League kicks off on Saturday with a Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park. BetXchange offers the odds for Manchester United VS Arsenal and a selection of LaLiga and Ligue 1 games as well.
The entire round is ahead of us, so stay tuned and see what we prepared for you in the upcoming few paragraphs.
Everton VS Liverpool
The Reds are coming off two huge wins. One was against Bournemouth, in which they scored nine goals, and the other happened this mid-week against Newcastle, and they came back from behind, scoring a winner in the stoppage time. So we can say that the morale of Jurgen Klopp’s unit is at the highest possible level.
The Toffees aren’t playing good football at the moment, having zero wins in the opening four rounds. Frank Lampard is under pressure, but to be honest,, Everton doesn’t have good players, and the team’s overall quality is among the worst in the Premiership.
Liverpool should post a win here, not having the slightest problems. We do get it that the Toffees have the home-field edge and the motivation due to the rivalry between them and the Reds, but they can’t do anything surprising. Plus, there are a lot of injured players on their list.
Pick: Liverpool -1.5 1/1 at BetXchange
Brentford VS Leeds United
The Bees are excellent so far, and even though they are among the favorites for relegation, they have only one defeat in the first five round, playing solid and very enjoyable football. Brentford scored at least a goal in all the events since the start of the year, with four of six ending with both teams scoring.
Leeds lost Rodrygo, but this team will still have an offensive-minded approach. The Peacocks, too, love to attack, which results in frequent goals. Four of six had over 2.5 scores, and the same number ended with scores of both teams.
Both units hitting the back of the net is our pick for Saturday’s contest, with the odds being pretty solid.
Pick: Both teams to score 3/5 at BetXchange
Nottingham VS Bournemouth
Steve Cooper’s side has one win, but that was four weeks ago, and after that, they had a draw and back-to-back losses. One was pretty painful, losing to Man City at the Etihad, 6-0. The former European champions couldn’t score in this and the previous game.
Bournemouth won in Birmingham in the season opener, and after that lost four in a row, not scoring a single goal, while allowing 12 on the other side. This is a very limited unit, and in our opinion, the top contender for relegation.
There won’t be too many good chances like this one for Nottingham to win at home this year. Regardless of what many think, the hosts simply have to utilize all the rivals’ problems and triumph.
Pick: Nottingham Forrest wins 11/10 at BetXchange
Brighton VS Leicester
The Seagulls started the season well, and until this Wednesday, they were among the best teams in the league. The loss to Fulham on the road won’t spoil that picture, because Dunk and the boys showed quite the quality. Their defense was especially impressive, keeping four clean sheets, including the EFL Cup.
Leicester’s defense is entirely the opposite, conceding at least once in each event, and falling apart frequently. Certain circumstances go against the Foxes, like Pereira’s injury or Fofana’s desire to leave the club, and all that resulted in Leicester having just one point after five games.
Our pick here would be the hosts to win because they have a dazzled and shaken rival coming to Amex, while they themselves play good football and are in form.
