David de Gea seems to have been the subject of transfer speculation every single summer since he joined Manchester United in 2011.

The 28-year-old goalkeeper has had spells during his time at Old Trafford where he has been considered the best goalkeeper in the world and there is no doubt that he has increased the number of wins United have picked up year after year because of his presence between the posts.

Most of the speculation surrounding de Gea and his future over the years has liked the former Atletico Madrid keeper with a move to former rivals Real Madrid. That fit seems to make sense, with the Spanish international returning to his homeland.

Now though, there is a new contender for de Gea’s services. PSG have a hole at goalkeeper after Gianluigi Buffon decided to return back to Italy at the end of his year in France.

De Gea has just one year left on his contract and United are balking at his 350,000 pounds-per-week wage demands. The problem for the United management is that de Gea could walk at the end of the 2020 season without the English club seeing any money for arguably the best keeper in the world.

Manchester United are 21.00 to win the Premier League next season, while PSG are the clear favourites for the French Ligue 1 even without De Gea yet onboard at 0.09 with BetXchange.
