Betting Preview
Outright Winner
Plenty of the biggest names on the PGA Tour feature here in Florida and they will be keen to get their hands on some silverware here:-
2020 Honda Classic champion Sungjae Im won well in this event two years ago and with some impressive showings so far this year too, he could be very much in the mix come Sunday afternoon.
With a couple of top 10 finishes on the PGA Tour already under his belt this season, Daniel Berger is a man in form, and he heads up a strong domestic field here at Palm Beach.
Young Chilean Joaquin Niemann is a prolific performer on the PGA Tour, and he could go well this week after a superb win at the Genesis Invitational last weekend.
Four time major winner Brooks Koepka is one of the most dangerous players on the PGA Tour and despite no recent form to go off, he can be so tough to beat if he brings his A game.
Englishman Tommy Fleetwood is not in the form of his life but there have been signs he’s finding his top nick once again and he will be looking to pick up a much needed event win here.
1st Round Leader
The whole field here in Florida will believe they can get off to a strong start and if they do so they could set themselves up for the week ahead:
2019 Open champion Shane Lowry has been putting in some good performances of late on the PGA Tour and with conditions set to be similar here, he could be a tough man to stop.
Englishman Ian Poulter is one of the toughest competitors around and should he get going from the off here in the familiar surrounds of Florida, he could end up topping the leader board at the end of day 1.
Top Ten Finish
With so many quality players assembled here in Florida, getting into the winning enclosure could be tough but there are plenty of candidates to finish in the top 10 come Sunday afternoon:-
Young American Matthew Wolff is continually coming of age on the PGA Tour, and he will fancy making his mark in one of the biggest events on the calendar this week.
American Brian Harman is another man that enjoys the big events and whilst his recent form has been a little sticky, a top 10 finish is well within reach here.
American Rickie Fowler has fallen from the top table of elite golf over the past 12 months, but he returns to an event he has won before, and he could see this as his chance to find form once more.
