So, the UFC 310 is loaded with incredibly interesting fights. The main event of the night is the flyweight title battle between the champ, Alexander Pantoja, and the challenger, Kai Asakura. Meanwhile, we’ll see Shavkat Rakhmonov against Ian Machado Garry and two heavyweights, Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov.

Here are the UFC 310 odds.

Pantoja vs. Asakura Preview and Pick

Alexandre Pantoja, the reigning UFC flyweight champ, takes on the rising Japanese star Tatsuro Asakura in a battle that promises to deliver fireworks. Pantoja is known for his relentless pace, well-rounded skill set, and submission expertise. Meanwhile, Asakura enters the octagon with a perfect record and an exciting, dynamic style that quickly turns heads in the flyweight division.

Pantoja is a veteran having 34 years and 33 MMA bouts, of which he won 28 and lost only five. His method of winning is equally distributed, with him winning ten events via submission and decision and eight via KO. All five defeats were after a decision. He has six straight wins now and two title defenses already.

Asakura is the most hyped name in the division. And how wouldn’t he be with his style of fight and the status of the Rizin bantamweight champions, which he brought to the UFC once he signed with the organization this summer. Now, he has 21 wins and four defeats, but his stamina in this environment interests all the UFC fans. With all due respect, there are doubts about his previous rivals, who weren’t as tough and prominent as Pantoja’s. For instance, he met Manel Kape twice, once beating him after a split decision and losing the other battle via KO. Pantoja beat him easily.

Also, the Brazilian was tested against the top names – the biggest one, Brandon Moreno, and we no longer need to go beyond that. That’s why we have to pick him to triumph here. Simply put, this will be a huge step forward for Asakura, who is an excellent fighter but can’t beat the reigning champion.

Rakhmonov vs. Garry Preview and Pick

Since this is a co-main event and probably the welterweight title eliminator, this event will, too, go to five rounds. So prepare to see fireworks, even though we personally don’t expect to see the full 25 minutes of battle in this one. Both guys are undefeated in the octagon, with Rakhmonov boasting an 18-0 record and Garry 15-0.

The Nomad, as the fans call him, put some big-time names in his resume last year, like Geoff Neal and Stephen Thomspon. He has all his wins coming by a stoppage, with the three latest being via submission. Though Rakhmonov is also an excellent puncher, having eight triumphs coming by way of KO.

Garry also beat Neal and Magny as Rakhmonov and was better than Michael Page in his previous appearance. However, he isn’t as confident as the Kazakh fighter, who has seven KOs, seven decision wins, and one submission. Yet, his relentless pace and the fact that he can eat plenty of hard punches have earned him a chance to participate in the title eliminator.

Many believe that Garry might have a chance to win here, but we don’t. Rakhmonov is a beast, and if he doesn’t break his rival in stand up, he will definitely submit him on the mat.

Gane vs. Volkov Prediction and Pick

Gane was twice in the title bout, and Volkov didn’t get a chance to fight for the belt. This might be his last attempt to reach there, as well as Gane’s. Though, apart from Aspinall, the division doesn’t have that many names that could challenge Jon Jones. These two guys have met once before, during Gane’s meteoric rise, when the Frenchman beat the Russian unanimously.

Gane lost to Jones in the title battle but later defeated Serghei Spivac with a KO in the second round. That was in Paris, where he had huge support from the crowd. His primary skill is Muay Thai, and for a big guy, he has very refined kicks and punches. He knows to wrestle, yet not that much, and we saw that against Ngannou when the Predator earned his title on the mat.

Volkov is a former Bellator champ and has been in this business for a long time, but he always gets left behind when it comes to big bouts. The Russian has four wins in a row: Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Alexander Romanov, Tai Tuivasa and Sergei Pavlovich.

We would pick Gane here because he has a speed edge over the Russian, who is massive and has a longer reach but not that explosive. Also, Gane’s punches are equally strong as Volkov’s, if not stronger, and when we combine that with his speed, there’s a good reason to bet on the French fighter.
