After a two week break due to the FIFA international break, it is back to the bread and butter business of the DStv Ptemiership where log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to increase their lead at the top of the table.

Eyes will also be on early season high flyers Stellenbosch who will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to eleven matches when they host AmaZulu who have improved significantly in recently.

At the bottom of the standings, basement side Marumo Gallants, who are under new coach Dan Malesela, will be looking for their first win of the season when they take on SuperSport United.

Other struggling teams at the bottom TS Galaxy, Chippa, who have former player Kurt Lentjies in caretaker charge after the suspension of Gavin Hunt, Swallows and Baroka will also be looking for morale boosting wins this weekend.

Golden Arrows VS Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates will be looking to get back to winning ways when they visit highly unpredictable Golden at the Princess Magogo Stadium after they lost 2-1 to Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby before the international break.

Abafana Bes’thende, who have endured mixed results at home, have ambitions of their own following a recent run of two losses and draws that has derailed their movement into the top half of the table.

Stellenbosch VS AmaZulu

Stellenbosch, who battled relegation for the better part of last season,  are undoubtedly the surprise packages of this campaign so far as they are sitting second from the top with 20 points from ten matches.

Together with log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, they are yet to be beaten in the league this season but improving AmaZulu have what is takes to rise to the occasion and hand them their first defeat of the season.

This is the battle of the struggling teams but slight advantage will be with Baroka who have only lost once at home this season after four matches and they are desperate for their first victory in five matches.

On the other hand, Cape Town City are looking for three points to force their way into the top eight bracket on the log and also to avenge the MTN8 final loss they suffered at the hands of the Brazilians in Durban recently.
