The DStv Premiership enters the final day with Mamelodi Sundowns already confirmed as champions and AmaZulu as runners-up and having qualified to play in the in the much sought after Caf Champions League next season.

The other issue that has been finalised is that Black Leopards who have been relegated to the National First Division (NFD) and what will be decided on Saturday is who will be dropping to the dreaded promotion and relegation play-offs.

Teams who are in danger of dropping to the play-offs are Maritzburg United, Stellenbosch and Chippa United and eyes will be firmly fixed on who will make it to the top eight between TS Galaxy, Kaizer Chiefs and Baroka on what is expected to be a frantic final day of the campaign.

Sundowns vs Cape Town City

In all honesty, only pride will be at stake for champions Mamelodi Sundowns, who became the first team in the PSL era to go the entire season without an away defeat, and Cape Town City who have already secured a place in the top eight by relegating Black Leopards last week.

TS Galaxy vs Kaizer Chiefs

This is one of the clashes of the weekend and a win with enough goals will see TS Galaxy finish in the top eight bracket in their debut season while at the same time condemning Kaizer Chiefs to the ignominy of missing out of the MTN8.

Pick: Chiefs Wins at 1.40 at BetXChange

Golden Arrows vs Stellenbosch

In this match, Arrows needs a win to keep their faint hopes of finishing third spot and book a place in the Confederation Cup ahead of Orlando Pirates but on the other hand Stellenbosch have ambitions of their own as they need all the three points to save themselves from dropping into the promotion and relegation play-offs.

Pick: Arrows Wins at 0.75 at BetXChange

Swallows vs Baroka

Swallows will be looking to maintain their place in the top half of the table and three points will bring to an end a run of eight matches without a win where they suffered seven draws and one loss. It is not going to be easy for the Dube Birds as they will be up against Baroka who are desperate to get into the top eight.

Pick: Swallows Wins at 1.40 at BetXChange

Chippa United vs SuperSport United

SuperSport United, who endured an inconsistent campaign that affected their chances of challenging for the title, have secured a top eight finish but they are targeting a top four finish. They are up against a disparate Chippa United side that is in serious danger of being dragged into the play-offs if they lose.

Pick: SuperSport Wins at 1.45 at BetXChange

Orlando Pirates vs Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM)

After a drama filled start to the season that was charectirised by embarrassing off the field shenanigans, TTM has successfully pulled off the great escape under the new management of Abram Sello. They are standing in the way of Orlando Pirates who need a point to ensure third spot finish and return to the Caf Confederation Cup.

Pick: Pirates Wins at 0.61 at BetXChange

Black Leopards vs Bloemfontein Celtic

Bloemfontein Celtic coach John Maduka will make sure that his players don’t undermine already relegated Black Leopards who can embarrass them. Celtic have avoided dropping into the quagmire of the promotion and relegation play-offs but they will be looking to end what has been a topsy-turvy season on a positive note.

Pick: Celtic Wins at 1.64 at BetXChange

Maritzburg United vs AmaZulu

After two losses, AmaZulu returned back to winning ways mid-week with a win over Swallows that ensured second place finish but they may be responsible for taking their KwaZulu-Natal neighbours Martzburg United into the relegation and promotion play-offs.
