As time goes by, things are starting to head in a very interesting direction when it comes to French Ligue 1. PSG is sage in the first place, but the battle for the European competitions and the relegation is extremely interesting.

This is the preview for the Round 27 of the French national championship, and we ask you to stay tuned over the next few minutes.

PSG VS Rennes

The biggest game of all is at Parc des Princes, where the Saints host Rennes. Messi and the boys are first with 10 points more than Marseille, but without Neymar, who is out for the season. Meanwhile, Rennes hopes to reach the UEFA Champions League spot or at least one that leads to the international stage.

PSG has no other obligations, with them finishing the UCL adventure already in the Round of 16. They are now solely focused on Ligue 1, where they have enough of a reserve to close the title race routinely. PSG won four of the previous five games, and in all the triumphs, this unit netted at least twice.

On the other side is Rennes, who isn’t very confident. Yes, they have just one loss in the previous five contests, with three wins and one draw, but during that stretch, this team suffered elimination from the UEFA Europa League.

PSG lost to Rennes in the year’s opening game, and the hosts will be looking for a way to avenge that defeat. Due to this, our pick here is PSG to win and cover a 1.5-goal spread.

Ajaccio VS Monaco

Ajaccio is under the red line but two points behind several teams who are in the safe area. Meanwhile, Monaco chases the Champions League, with them being three points short of Lens, who holds that third place.

The hosts are terrible, having two wins and eight defeats since mid-January. They are the team in the worst form of all in the French league. The data which shows how bad they are is only one game in which they scored over the recent six.

Monaco slowed down in the worst possible moment of the campaign. Right now, the team from the south has four in a row without success, losing three of them. Their defense has been under every decent level, conceding ten times in these four encounters.

This is be or not to be for both units, but when looking at the overall picture, Monaco is a better unit, and they should win. This pick has value, and we need to try it.

Toulouse VS Lille

The hosts are safe in the middle, minding their own business, and playing enjoyable football, especially at home. Lille is sixth, with certain chances of reaching the UCL, but with excellent prospects to catch a place that leads to the Europa League or the Conference League.

Toulouse is very good at Municipal Stadium, winning six of the past nine contests. Five of the recent six events at Municipal saw over 2.5 scores and goals on both ends of the field.

Lille enters this event following back-to-back draws, 1-1 in Lens, and 3-3 at home against Lyon. The Dogues’ games usually end with both teams netting, and that’s been the case in six of the most recent seven appearances.

As you probably guessed, our focus here is on goals, to be more precise, high efficiency. Over 2.5 goals is our recommendation, as all the previous stats and trends point in this direction.

Pick: Over 2.5 goals 2/3 at BetXchange
