Six Nations Game Week 4 Bet Preview

With Wales sitting pretty at the top of the Six Nations table, it promises to be another fascinating weekend of Northern Hemisphere Rugby. Wayne Pivac’s side travel to lowly Italy, looking to strengthen their own position in the league table and impart further misery on the Italians whilst England take on France in what should be a fiery encounter at Twickenham.

Ireland travel to Scotland on Sunday, with both sides hoping to have a say in the outcome of this year’s title and all set against the backdrop of both France and Scotland still yet to play each other as the COVID 19 pandemic rumbles on, it has been a Six Nations campaign quite like no other.

Match Preview

It’s top vs bottom in the Six Nations table in Rome and the writing looks to be on the wall for Italy. They have struggled at this level for the best part of a decade and are in grave danger of being left behind by the elite of European rugby.

Wales meanwhile looked dead and buried in 2020 under Wayne Pivac with a string of uninspiring performances but have sprung into life this year and look to be the side to beat. They saw off Ireland, Scotland, and England in their opening three games to clinch the Triple Crown and a win here would put them only one game away from a Grand Slam title.

Result Prediction: Wales to win the match – 0.03

Betting Tip: Point Spread – Wales -19.5 @ 0.45

Match Betting Tip: Total points in the match – Over 52.5 @ 0.82

England vs France

England – 0.78

France – 1.05

Draw – 20.00

Match Preview

One of the great rugby rivalries is reignited as England host France at Twickenham. Eddie Jones’s side have been blighted by injuries in recent months but have failed to hit the swashbuckling straps of recent seasons. They were outmuscled by Wales and Scotland in their two defeats of the campaign so far and will be keen to avoid a repeat here.

The general fitness level of the French squad has been cause for speculation over the past week, with COVID 19 believed to have done the rounds in the French camp. It is easy to forget Les Blues are indeed unbeaten in the competition this year and a win on the road here would put them in a fascinating position heading into their game against Wales next week.

Result Prediction: France to win the match – 1.05

Betting Tip: England to score the first try @ 0.80

Match Betting Tip: Winning Margin: France – 1 – 10 points @ 1.95

Scotland vs Ireland

Scotland – 1.10

Ireland – 0.70

Draw – 20.00

Match Preview

Two sides beaten by Wales in their opening matches will be looking to get their campaigns back on track as Scotland host Ireland. Ill-discipline cost the Scots against Wales as they were ultimately edged out with 14-men but their win over England earlier in the campaign should give them cause for optimism.

Similarly, Ireland suffered a loss with only 14 players on the field to Wales before losing to France in a tight encounter to get off to the worst possible start to the 2021 Six Nations. Their fortunes improved with a thumping win on the road in Italy, but the Irish will need to up their game if they are to pick up a win here.

Result Prediction: Scotland to win the match – 1.10

Betting Tip: Point Spread – Scotland -4.5 @ 1,30

Match Betting Tip: Highest Scoring Half – Second @ 0.98
