The Champions League playoffs are kicking in with eight games ahead of us this Tuesday and Wednesday. We will run through all of them in this short, fast, yet detailed preview and aim to cover as much information as possible.

Galatasaray VS Juventus
The Turks are very nasty at home, and in the past 4 games, they’ve scored at least three goals. Meanwhile, Juventus’ previous 4 matches all saw three or more goals, three of them both teams to score and Over 3.5 hits, which indicates they play open and efficient matches.

We expect a goal-fest in Istanbul, and our pick here would be over 2.5 hits.
Pick: Over 2.5 goals
Benfica VS Real Madrid
Since Mourinho took over Benfica, the Eagles have been playing well. The Portuguese powerhouse has 5 games in a row without a loss. On the other hand, Real won 6 of the last 7 contests, with the sole one being a few weeks ago at La Luz in the last match of the UCL group stage.
Real is in excellent shape, and despite Benfica’s current form and the home-field edge, we bet on the visitors, who are coming to Lisbon at full speed. Their counterattacks will kill the Eagles.
Pick: Real Madrid
Dortmund VS Atalanta
Dortmund has 4 wins in the last 5 games, and in matches at Signal Iduna, they have scored 2 or more goals in 8 of the previous 10 appearances. Atalanta looks well, winning three in a row, and posting three clean sheets in the last 4 encounters.
For us, this is a game with a moderate efficiency, meaning two or three goals, due to the stakes and the cautious approach from both sides.
Pick: 2 or 3 goals
Monaco VS PSG
The all-French clash in the UCL playoffs takes us to Monte Carlo. Monaco oscillates a lot, and they only recently picked up back-to-back wins at home. PSG was trashed VS Rennes on Friday, 3-1, and looks vulnerable, though still pretty strong.

This game will see at least three goals, because both teams have solid attacks and fragile defenses. In fact, 4 of the last 5 games Monaco played at home saw this, and 4 of the previous 5 games PSG played on the road also did.
Pick: Over 2.5 goals
Qarabag VS Newcastle
The Azerbaijani team has just one loss at home this year, and teams like Chelsea, Eintracht, and Copenhagen couldn’t triumph in Baku. As for the Magpies, they have back-to-back road wins, over Tottenham and Aston Villa, and even though the hosts look well, we are all in on Newcastle’s triumph here. They have more experience and better players for this stage.
Pick: Newcastle
Bodo VS Inter
Tight and very fast field is Bodo’s biggest edge here, but on the other side, the Norwegian unit is out of the competitive rhythm. Meanwhile, Inter is on fire, and the late win over Juve in Derby d’Italia only boosted their morale ahead of this event.
We have no doubts, Inter will win this event.
Pick: Inter
Club Brugge VS Atletico Madrid
Brugge has 5 wins in the past 6 matches, scoring two or more hits in each one. They are very gifted on the offensive side of the ball. Atletico oscillates, and after triumphs over Barca and Betis in the Copa del Rey, where they posted a combined goal difference of 9-0, they lost to Betis at home and to Rayo Vallecano in Primera.
The best bet here would be 2 or 3 goals, or a moderate efficiency, and try to avoid any full-time result bets as they can go either way.
Pick: 2 or 3 goals
Olympiacos VS Bayer Leverkusen
Only one win in the past 4 games is what frightens the hosts, while Leverkusen significantly improved its form and has 5 wins in the last 6 matches, with one tie. Oly has to be aggressive and attack at home, and that’s what Leverkusen waits for: to strike on the counterattack.
Pick: Leverkusen wins
