The early stages of the UEFA Champions League qualifiers have already started, and we are here to deliver the best picks for this Wednesday, July 6th.

Stay tuned for the next few lines to see the previews and odds as well, because it might be useful to you.

Bodo VS Klaksvik

The Norwegian champions host the best team from Faroe Island. The difference between these two nations is tremendous, so it is no wonder to see the hosts being massive favorites. Bodo had five wins in a row until this weekend, once they lost on the road vs. Odds 3-2. They are an offensive-minded bunch that scored two or more goals in seven of the most recent 10 games.

As for Klaksvik, they are without a defeat in 20 consecutive games, with the last one dating in October 2021. We also need to say that they have 18 wins and two draws throughout that stretch. But everyone needs to realize that football in Faroe Island is semi-professional and that despite all these great results, they are several levels below Bodo.

That is why we predict a swift and cruel win for the hosts, by a margin of several goals.

Pick: Bodo -1.5 0.43 at BetXchange

Zrinjski VS Sheriff Tiraspol

The last year’s sensation, Sheriff Tiraspol, who even managed to beat the eventual UEFA Champions League champions, Real Madrid, at Santiago Bernabeu, visits the Bosnian champion, Zrinjski. This is, for many, the derby of this stage of the qualifiers because these two sides are very ambitious and want to go all the way through the qualifying stages.

Zrinjski is without a loss in the previous 24 games, including the most recent four friendly internationals. They would beat Mura, Varazdin and Igman while playing without winners with Shkendija. All these games saw them scoring at least twice.

Sheriff didn’t play any official friendly games, but this team has been together for a long time, and they have pretty good chemistry on the field. The fact that there didn’t any official meetings before this event doesn’t mean that the Moldovan crew was without propper tests, only they were behind closed doors.

Our pick here would be the guests to win, with the odds on this being very high and profitable. Sheriff is a better team, and even though Zrinjski performs solid at home, we don’t believe they have the quality to beat the guests.

Maribor VS Shakhtyor Soligorsk

Maribor and Shakhtyor Soligorsk are featuring the last game on our list for today. The Slovenian and the Belarus champions play the first leg of their matchup, and may we add, that the chances for the advance to the next round are even.

The hosts didn’t win in the past four friendly international games, losing one and then posting three draws in a row. None of their rivals were prominent names, which raised some concerns among their fans.

As for the Belarus unit, they will have a handicap of not playing at home, in the rematch, but on the other hand, Shakhtyor now doesn’t mind about the venue of play, which only makes it easier for them to play “away” games. They haven’t had any official tests, but they have been preparing behind closed doors, just like Sheriff.

We expect to see a very tough and dull contest, between two sides who aren’t very keen on attacking and risking in the games like this one. Therefore, under 2.5 goals is our first choice here.

Pick: Under 2.5 goals at 0.65 at BetXchange
