Tournament Preview
The Wyndham Championship has been staged for over 80 years and is one of the most established events on the tour and is seeing a strong field assembled in North Carolina this week. Before the Ryder Cup dominates the worldwide golfing calendar in the Autumn, the US summer swing is now in full flow on the PGA Tour. The event will once again see stellar crowds back in after the COVID 19 pandemic and with a healthy prize pot of over 6 million dollars up for grabs – there is plenty to play for this week in North Carolina.

The Wyndham Championship is the sixth oldest event on the PGA Tour and there are plenty of big names hoping to etch their names into the history books in 2021:-
2019 Wyndham Championship runner up Webb Simpson continues to churn out the results on the PGA Tour and he’ll be pushing all the way again here in North Carolina.
Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama is becoming one of the men to beat on the PGA Tour and how he would love to continue his excellent recent form with another tournament win here.
It has been a season to remember on the PGA Tour for Brian Harman and his consistency levels have made him an outside candidate to make the US Ryder Cup team next month.
Englishman Tommy Fleetwood has been in contention recently without getting over the winning line, but he is a classy operator and will fancy his chances in this field.
American veteran Kevin Kisner continues to put solid performances in on the PGA Tour and he will fancy his chances on the course layout here in North Carolina.
