The FIFA Club World Cup has reached the semifinals, and we are just a few days away from the finals, which will be spectacular regardless of the participants.
In one game, we have Fluminense and Chelsea, while the other features two European powerhouses: the reigning UCL champions, PSG, and the most decorated team in football history, Real Madrid.
From what we have seen so far, each team has a realistic chance of winning the title. Despite what everyone thinks, Fluminense is a very good team and in our opinion it wouldn’t be odd to see the Brazilians winning this inaugural tournament.
Before starting the previews, here are the FIFA Club World Cup odds.
Fluminense VS Chelsea
The Brazilians have eliminated Al Hilal in the previous round, beating the Saudi team, 2-1. Just to remind everyone, this team won the Copa Libertadores in 2023. So you get the picture, why we said that Fluminense has enough potential to go all the way.
This game was the 11th straight for the Brazilians in which they haven’t lost. Over that period, we saw Flu win on 8 occasions and post three ties. By the way, they have scored two or more goals in each of their victories during this run.

Chelsea was better than Palmeiras, also with a 2-1 win. It was Blues’ fourth win in America, with one loss, but as time went by, Maresca’s unit improved, and they are looking pretty decent right now. The English side has played efficient matches lately, with the previous four all concluding with three or more hits.
Despite looking somewhat chaotic and occasionally dull, Chelsea is posting good results. There’s not a particular dose of beauty in their performances; however, the team from London manages to overcome all the challenges.
Thiago Silva will be very emotional at this event. He was Chelsea’s captain but now has to face his former team. Silva will be under heavy pressure due to the Blues’ attack and the fact that several of his players won’t be able to participate in this event due to suspensions.
Fluminense VS Chelsea Head to Head
The two sides never met before.
Fluminense VS Chelsea Predictions
Brazilians are very tough, and they know how to slow down the pace and wait for the rival’s mistake. On the other hand, we have the Italian coach, who is naturally oriented towards defense in the knockout stage. Therefore, we pick under 2.5 goals here.
PSG VS Real Madrid
The Saints showed the most in this tournament. After all, they’ve defeated Bayern Munich 2-0 in the quarterfinals without two players on the pitch, netting with 8 players in the field. It seems Luis Enrique created a monster. A one that will last for a long time.
PSG’s goal difference is 14-1, with the sole goal conceded against Botafogo, who defeated them in the group stage 1-0. However, anyone who watched the event will tell you that the Saints dominated.

Real started the tournament slowly, playing to a 1-1 draw against Al Hilal. Though with the time passing by, Xabi Alonso began to get the grip on the situation, and the Los Blancos recovered.
They went on to beat Pachuca, Salzburg, Juventus and in the end, Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in the quarterfinals. If we count the finish of the Spanish league, Real won seven of the previous 8 meetings.
They have an amazing player in Gonzalo Garcia, who has scored 4 goals so far and has a chance to win the Golden Boot here. On the other side, Kvaratskhelia is the man who leads his team.
PSG VS Real Madrid
The last time these two met was in the 2022 UCL Round of 16, when Real eliminated PSG, beating them 3-1 at home following a 1-0 loss on the road.
PSG VS Real Madrid Predictions
The Saints are a better team at the moment, and we would pick their win here. They seem more compact and cohesive, while Real still searches for itself under Alonso.
