England

England have been a revelation under Eddie Jones and are yet to lose a match since Jones took over the reins from Stuart Lancaster in 2016. England are the current Six Nations champions and are on a 15 consecutive test victory streak and last year beat the Wallabies 3-0 in the June test series and ended the year off with a comfortable win over the Boks. England will be looking to become the sixth team in history to win back to back Grand Slams. The bookies favourite.

Ireland

Ireland made history when they beat the All Blacks in Chicago late last year and will be contenders for the 6N Trophy.  Ireland had a poor 6N last year and were plagued by injuries to key players. They finished 3^rd  with a draw at home to Wales and losses to France and England away. A shock loss to Scotland in the opening match has put them on the backfoot.

France

Wales

Wales will be looking for their first Six Nations title since 2013. Wales currently have good momentum going into the tournament having beaten South Africa, Japan and Argentina in the November test matches. Wales have a good draw facing both England and Ireland at Cardiff.  However the loss to England in Round 2 has put the championship in doubt.

Italy

The perennial Six Nation wooden spoon holders will be looking to make the step up in this year’s tournament. Italy has had a remarkable 6 months since Conor O’Shea became the head couch. A shock victory (their first ever) over the Springboks in November will boost their confidence and with the help of newly appointed defensive coach, Brendan Venter, Italy just might cause a major upset.

Scotland

Over the past few seasons the Scots have grown into a side packed with exciting players with attacking intent. Unfortunately this type of play has not transferred into any notable results. A surprise victory against Ireland in their opening game was followed by a close loss to France.
