It is an interesting summer over in Munich. Bayern are looking to replace two stalwarts of the club in wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery. These are two players that the club has been built around for near a decade, with the dual departures leaving gaping holes in the attacking options of Die Roten.
The problem is that the players they are chasing don’t seem to be biting and/or available for sale. Bayern would love a Premier League raid for both Leroy Sane and Callum Hudson-Odoi, but nothing is happening in the transfer department regarding either player. Sane has gone as far as saying he has no interest in a move to the perennial German champions.
The next player on the list of potentials for Bayern is reported to be French winger Ousmane Dembele. Dembele, who is contracted with Barcelona until 2022, would command a high price, but Bayern might be tempted to make a bid as their list of potential targets shrinks by the day.
Bayern are the heavy favourites to win the Bundesliga again next season at 0.25 with BetXchange. Bayern are also the seventh favourites to win the Champions League at 10.00.
