Following two successive draws with Cape Town City and SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to get back to winnings ways when they host high flying rookies SeKhukhune United at Tuks Stadium on Saturday.

Eyes will also be on Stellenbosch who are visiting surprise packages and second-placed Royal AM at the Chatsworth Stadium and on Kaizer Chiefs who are away to Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium.

This is not a full round of fixtures as Orlando Pirates and Marumo Gallants are in Caf Confederation Cup action where they are fighting to put themselves in good positions to advance to the group stages.

Mamelodi Sundowns VS Sekhukhune United

The Brazilians dropped four crucial points in their last two league matches against Cape Town City and SuperSport United in the Tshwane derby but they will fancy their chances returning back to winning ways against Sekhukhune United.

Their mission is not going to be an easy one as rookies Sekhukhune United are one of the form teams in the DStv Premiership at the moment having won their last two matches against Swallows and Royal AM.

TS Galaxy VS Cape Town City

TS Galaxy coach Sead Ramović will be looking for his second consecutive win as coach of the club when they host unpredictable Cape Town City at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on Saturday.

On the other hand, Cape Town City are also desperate for points as they have gone two games without a win in recent weeks where they lost to AmaZulu and drew with log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Golden Arrows VS Baroka

Golden Arrows go into this important match on the back of recent positive home results where they have avoided defeat in two successive matches following hard fought draws with Swallows and Orlando Pirates.

Baroka have travelled with new coach Kgoloko Thobejane who has taken over from Matsimela Thoka following a string of inconsistent performances that have left the club sitting fifth from the bottom.

Royal AM VS Stellenbosch

Royal AM and Stellenbosch are among the most on-form teams in the league at the moment and sparks are expected to fly if both sets of players pitch up with their tails up at Chatsworth Stadium.

Second placed Royal were on a four match winning run until they drew with Baroka in the last match while on the other hand Stellenbosch will be looking to bounce back after they lost to Pirates in their last match.

Swallows VS Kaizer Chiefs

This is without doubt one of the stand-out matches for this weekend where inconsistent Kaizer Chiefs will be looking for the much needed win and struggling Swallows to move out of the relegation zone.

In their last match, Chiefs conceded a late equaliser to end up with a costly 1-1 draw with AmaZulu while Swallows, who are sitting third from the bottom, lost to Sekhukhune United to pile more pressure on coach Brandon Truter.

Maritzburg United VS AmaZulu

The KZN derby has in the past produced some memorable matches and the same is hoped for when they meet at the Harry Gwala Stadium in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday.

After a poor start, AmaZulu have significantly improved in recent weeks with two wins and three draws to move into the top eight bracket on the log but Maritzburg are struggling on the bottom half of the table.
