Premier League round 25 is on this weekend. The game between Newcastle and Brighton is off, but all the others are ready to go, and BetXchange is here to present the previews and the picks for these events.
The most exciting clash is at the Tottenham stadium, where Spurs meet Chelsea, and besides that, the one in Leicester, where the Foxes play against Arsenal, should also be interesting.
Tottenham VS Chelsea
Antonio Conte and the Spurs still have solid chances to reach the UEFA Champions League, but they must win this one. The Spurs have three wins in the previous four league games, but on the other side, they did lose in the first leg of the UCL round of 16 in Milan. Tottenham won the latest two clashes at home without a goal allowed, and the previous five matches there were with under 2.5 scores.
Chelsea is in free fall, with only one triumph in the recent ten games, from which five games saw them losing. The Blues are playing maybe the worst football in the past two or three years, and the fans are very anxious. The fact that Chelsea couldn’t score more than one goal in the past 450 minutes tells enough.
Tottenham should win this one; if they don’t, the whole campaign could be endangered. Odds are profitable, and we will go with the Spurs’ triumphing.
Pick: Tottenham wins 3/2 at BetXchange
Leicester VS Arsenal
A few years ago, we saw these teams fighting over the EPL title. This was the last time Arsenal was in the mix for the Premiership crown until now. The Foxes have had three wins and one draw before losing to Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, 3-0. This was the fourth in five with three or more goals.
Arsenal was on the verge of the cliff in Birmingham against Aston Villa, but two stoppage-time goals brought them to a 4-2 win and again moved the Gunners away from City in the standings. Arsenal finally triumphed, having three losses and one draw in four events prior to the one vs. Villa.
This game should be efficient because both teams play like that. Our pick is for both sides to score with quite solid odds at BetXchange.
Pick: Both teams to score 7/10 at BetXchange
Bournemouth VS Manchester City
The Cherries are one point above the relegation zone and are in a tough situation. They had nine games without a victory across all the competition before winning on the road in Wolverhampton, 0-1, snapping that negative streak that saw them losing seven times.
City is in the position to change the title and doesn’t have the credit to lose points. They already did that seven days ago, playing 1-1 in Nottingham, which led to Arsenal’s escape in the standings.
There is no need to explain why we take the Citizens to win and also, to cover a 1.5-goal handicap.
Pick: Manchester City -1.5 3/4 at BetXchange
Fulham VS Wolverhampton
The Cottagers are in decent form with three victories in a row, against Sunderland in the FA Cup, and then at home vs. Nottingham and on the road in Brighton. Lately, they don’t provide high-efficient games like before, but play well and stable, creating chances.
Wolverhampton is awfully near the red zone. If it weren’t for three triumphs in their last five EPL contests, the Wolves would be among the bottom three teams in the league.
Overall, both units are in solid shape, on the rise, we might add, which is the main reason to bet on both units netting.
Pick: Both teams to score 4/5 at BetXchange
