Tennis as a sport is watch by millions of people and each year more and more people are using their knowledge of tennis to place bets online – this guide will take you through the step by step tennis betting process.
Step by step guide on how to place a tennis bet online
1. Go to www.betxchange.co.za
2. If you already have an account with BetXchange.co.za click Login, if not click Register an account and fill in the correct details.
3. Remember you can only start betting if you have funds in your account, so before you begin click on My Account and Deposit in order to do so.
4. Once you’re on the Dashboard click on Tennis, which can be found either on the left hand column or under the top navigation bar.
5. You will now be on a page with various options of the Tennis matches you can bet on:
Todays Events – these are either ATP, WTA, Challenge, ITF Men or ITF Women.
Current Events – these are either ATP, WTA, Challenge or ITF Men.
Future and Outright Events – non at present.
6. Let’s say for example you choose WTA Generali Linz under Current Events. You will be directed to this page:
7. In the Safarova vs Mitu match, you have the option of betting either Safarova to win or Mitu to win or a draw. The odds are currently 4/1. Check the box of the player you choose will win and click on either BET, MPL or SMPL.
The three blue buttons on the right hand side are where you place your bets.
BET – This is for a single bet (Only one can be chosen per market)
MPL – This is for a multiple bet
SMPL – This is for a special multiple bet
8. The right hand side drop down menu “View odds as:” is where you are able to choose either decimal or fractional odds. I like to work on fractional odds so have chosen this option.
9. I have chosen Mitu to win and clicked on single BET. My betting slip then appears as such:
I have placed a R10 bet and stand to win R42 should Mitu win the match.
10. You then click the blue Submit button and will receive the below notification:
11. It is important to read the criteria for bets to be accepted in a certain match as each betting house differs. For example for the Safarova vs Mitu match, the first set must be completed for bets to stand.
12. Your ticket will now appear in the betting slip, which is where all your bets will appear.
13. All you have to do now is sit back and enjoy the match.
