Serie A round 19 is on the menu this weekend, and we are here to give you a few previews and good picks. There are a couple of derbies, like those in Turin and Rome, where Juve and Lazio host Atalanta and AC Milan, and besides that, a few more interesting matchups.

Juventus VS Atalanta

Both units played in Coppa Italia this week, and both earned wins. Juventus was better than Monza, 2-1, while Atalanta had a highly entertaining event against Spezia that ended with them winning 5-2.

Juventus is trying to get back in shape, and they had solid results up until suffering a humiliation in Naples, where Napoli rolled over them, 5-1. After two 1-0 wins, over Cremonese on the road and against Udine at home, came a loss to Napoli and, eventually, a win over Monza.

Meanwhile, Atalanta is without a win since the Serie A restart. The first game was against Spezia on the road, 2-2, then came a victory over Bologna, 1-2 also on the road, and a fantastic performance against Salarenintana at home, 8-2. Their attack stayed hot in Coppa Italia, where they beat Spezia once again, only this time it was 5-2.

Juventus isn’t a team that likes to play high-efficiency matches, but in this situation, they will have to square off with a unit with such a mentality. That’s why we predict both teams netting in this one.

Pick: Both teams to score 4/5 at BetXchange

Lazio VS Milan

The Eagles eliminated Bologna from the Coppa Italia following 90 minutes of ferocious battle. The final score was 1-0 for Lazio, who hosted the rivals at the Olimpico, which was the second win in a row for Maurizio Sarri’s crew. After losing to Lecce, 2-1, and playing 2-2 at home to Empoli, these two victories came as a huge boost for the Eagles.

On the other hand, Milan’s performances were rather disappointing for their fans. They’ve visited Salareintana, beating that opponent 1-2, then played with AS Roma 2-2 at home before suffering elimination from Coppa Italia at San Siro to Torino, playing 2-2 in Lecce and losing in the Super Cup finals against Inter, 0-3.

Rossoneri’s defense is very problematic, and they can’t find any consistency for the moment. Lazio looks more stable, but they, too, have massive problems in the back line. Like in the previous paragraph, our suggestion here would be to pick both teams to score.

Salareintana VS Napoli

The Granata hosts the Serie A leaders, who had a slip following a massive win over Juventus at home. Napoli lost to Cremonese in Coppa Italia and was eliminated from that competition, making Salareintana’s position worse. The hosts have two losses, one draw following the restart, and very motivated leaders are coming to town. Granata lost to AC Milan, 1-2, then played 1-1 against Torino and lost in Bergamo last weekend, 8-2.

Napoli started the post-World Cup part of the year with a loss in Milan to Inter, 1-0, then beat Sampdoria in Genoa, 0-2, and then trashed Juventus 5-1. A failure in Coppa Italia wasn’t planned, but if Spalletti’s crew takes the title, everything will be forgotten.

Our pick here is for guests to win and to do that by a two-goal margin.

Inter VS Empoli

Nerazzurri are on the rise, having four wins and a draw in the past five games, most recently beating AC Milan in the Super Cup trophy battle. They were better than the hated rival, 0-3, in a match in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Empoli plays solid football and has been without a defeat in the past three clashes. The Blues played 1-1 against Udinese, then 2-2 versus Napoli, both on the road, before beating Sampdoria, 1-0 at home.

Despite them playing good football, Empolis will lose in Milan, and that’s our pick here.

Pick: Inter 3/10 at BetXchange
