It appears that Serie A won’t lack on the excitement this year, with several teams bidding for the title. Over the recent years, the Italian football had begun reclaiming its spot as one of the best in Europe, following years of Juve’s domination.
This weekend, Juve visits Sassuolo, champions Napoli head to Bologna, while Inter Milan meets with Empoli on the road as well. Jose Mourinho and Roma have a tough away game VS Torino.

Sassuolo VS Juventus
Four games and only three points isn’t a very impressive record for Sassuolo, who is coming off a 4-2 loss to Frosinone on the road. The only victory came at home against Verona, 3-1, and in all other events this crew allowed at least two goals, suggesting that the defensive effort is the problem.
Juve has three victories and a draw, with them beating the previous two rivals, Empoli on the road, 0-2, and Lazio at home, 1-1. Dusan Vlahovic is in the headlines again, but this time not because of a potential transfer but good performances, with the Serbian striker smashing and bashing the rivals’ defenses.
Even though Juve has certain troubles when meeting Sassuolo, they should take three points here due to their solid offensive productivity and the hosts’ issues in the backline.
Pick: Juventus 1/1 at BetXchange
Bologna VS Napoli
Bologna has five points in four rounds, which isn’t that bad. They snapped a point on the road against Juve, then did the same in Verona while beating Cagliari at home and losing to Milan also at home. Three of these events have seen fewer than 2.5 goals.
On the other side, Napoli had a tough game against Braga on the road, but won that one, 1-2. The Serie A champs have two wins, one tie and one defeat so far in the league, with the only failure coming at the hand of Lazio in Naples.
Rudi Garcia didn’t change anything in Napoli’s game following Spalletti’s departure, and the team still plays fast and offensive football. They have the power to defeat Bologna which we expect to happen.
Pick: Napoli 4/5 at BetXchange
Empoli VS Inter
The hosts have four losses in a row and are terrible, figuring as the top candidate for the relegation. They have defeats against Verona, Monca, Jventus, and lastly against AS Roma, who humiliated them at Olimpico, 7-0. By the way, the team didn’t score a single goal this year.
Inter endured a very tough event in San Sebastian, taking one point from that clash, 1-1. Nerazzurri know nothing but wins in Serie A, having four and a maximum of 12 points, with an impressive goal difference of 13-1. It’s safe to say they look pretty confident.
This will be a nice chance for the guests to post another high win, because Empoli doesn’t have the quality to compete with them.
Pick: Inter -1.5 1/1 at BetXchange
Torino VS AS Roma
After a bit of a sluggish start, the Bulls have improved, beating Genoa and Salareintana in back-to-back events, not allowing a single goal. They have a very tough defense, with three clean sheets in four appearances so far. Torino’s football isn’t that appealing, yet that’s been the case for the past year or so and we got used to it.
AS Roma is still adapting to Lukaku and vice versa. The Belgian will have a big role in Mourinho’s crew, and he is expected to be a central player. The first win of the year was impressive, with Il Lupi performing at the highest possible level. It was also another event with at least three or more goals.
Torino’s defense didn’t meet a guy like Lukaku up until this point, and we are going to count on the swing and the momentum from the previous event once suggesting to pick Roma’s victory.
Pick: AS Roma 15/10 at BetXchange
