The UEFA Champions League quarterfinals are about to start, and BetXchange is here to deliver a preview of all four games. These are first meetings, so do have that on your mind when making any decision regarding betting.

Benfica VS Liverpool

The Reds are in fantastic shape, and alongside the Citizens, are topping the list of favorites for winning the UCL. Klopp’s unit is smashing all the rivals at the same level, with all the lines in the team playing fantastic football. Liverpool won the past four games, not allowing a single goal, with Virgil Van Dijk orchestrating the back line.

On the other side, Benfica lost in Braga, 3-2, after nine consecutive games without a failure. They have lots of trouble in defense, posting only two clean sheets in 15 games. The offense is working well, and there weren’t too many games in which the Eagles didn’t net at least twice, especially at home.

This will be a routine game for the Reds, who are at a much higher level than Benfica. Liverpool’s attack is one of the best, if not the best, in the world, and it will for sure find a way to break Benfica’s fragile defense early on.

Pick: Liverpool -1.5 1.00 at BetXchange

Manchester City VS Atletico Madrid

According to the majority of the fans, the Citizens are the top favorite for winning the Champions League. They are in solid shape, having eight wins in the last 10 games, losing once and playing one draw. During this stretch, Pep Guardiola’s crew posted seven clean sheets, and they managed to score at least two or more goals on seven occasions. This pretty much indicates their perfect form.

On the other side, Atletico plays superbly as well. They have six victories in a row, seven in the past eight. Joa Felix has been doing wonders lately, and one of the biggest talents in the world finally showed his full potential. Diego Simeone managed to find the winning formula after a period of struggles, and his Atletico looks confident. They haven’t allowed a goal in the past three road games, winning four in a row away from Wanda Metropolitan.

Our pick here would be under 2.5 goals, as both managers won’t open and attack during these 90 minutes. They are aware that the stakes are high and that on the other side lies a very tough rival, who has experience in these events.

Pick: Under 2.5 goals 0.98 at BetXchange

Chelsea vs Real Madrid

The replay of the last year’s semis once Chelsea made a massive upset and eliminated Real, later winning the title and shocking everyone. Coming into Wednesday’s event, the tables have turned and the Blues are now the favorites in this matchup. Though, they didn’t make a good intro, having lost this weekend at home to Brentford, 1-4. It was the first defeat after six victories in a row.

On the other side, Real is doing its thing routinely. They had a nasty shock at home against Barcelona, 0-4, but recovered immediately, beating Celta in Vigo on Saturday, 1-2. Los Blancos have three wins in a row away from home, allowing only one goal. Their previous five events on the road have ended with just one side scoring.

We are expecting to see one closed and defensive-minded game, between two sides that will look to defend their goal first and attack later.

Pick: Under 2.5 goals 0.72 at BetXchange

Villarreal VS Bayern Munich

The Yellow Submarine reached this far without any hype nor the media attention they deserve. Unai Emery is one of the best managers of today, but he too isn’t getting the respect he deserves. Yet, Villarreal isn’t playing well lately, losing three of the past five games, with all of them ending with goals on only one side.

As for Bayern, the Germans have eight straight events without a defeat, winning five and playing three draws. We don’t and won’t mention their style of play, because it is already known.

We expect to see them winning in Spain, because they are simply a better unit than the hosts. The odds are solid, and we wouldn’t want to miss a chance here to earn some easy money.

Pick: Bayern 0.57 at BetXchange
