The UEFA Champions League semis are coming back. We have the rematches on the menu, and after these two events, we will know which teams head to Paris to meet in the finals.

Stay tuned and see BetXchange previews and picks for both.

Villarreal VS Liverpool

The hosts have a hard task, as they need to erase a two-goal deficit, meaning that they have to do something nobody has done in a long time, and that is to beat Liverpool by a multiple-goal margin. It is one hell of a task, especially due to the fact that the Reds like to play matches like this, where there is enough space to strike from the counterattack.

Villarreal’s hopes are high because of the fact that they haven’t lost in the past dozen games at home. Throughout that period, they won nine times and had three draws.

We don’t need to say too much about Liverpool. This year, the Reds are amazing and arguably the top favorite for the title now. Klopp’s team has five wins in a row, not allowing a goal in the past four. In the last 12 games, in only one, this unit didn’t score two goals. When looking only at the contests on the road, over the past 12, Liverpool won 11 times, having just a single draw.

The situation is clear regarding the course of the game, as Villarreal needs to attack and risk getting his net filled to the top. In our opinion, that is exactly what is going to happen. Without a few players in the back line, the hosts will experience the worst scenario here because Liverpool’s strikers crave a situation like this one. That is why our pick here is Liverpool to score two or more goals.

Real Madrid VS Manchester City

The Los Blancos are in excellent shape when it comes to scoring these days, and that is mostly because of Karim Benzema, who netted 42 goals in 42 games this year. The Frenchman is the top favorite for the Golden Ball, and arguably the best player in Europe right now.

Only one of the recent ten games Real played didn’t end with three or more goals. The previous five were with four or more, and four saw hits on both ends. Real defeated Espanyol this Saturday, 4-0, to clinch the title, and after that, had a massive party in the city to celebrate a well-done task.

Meanwhile, Man City won the previous four matches, displaying a very high efficiency on the offensive end. They scored 16 goals, and that says enough about this crew. Guardiola perfectly targeted the form, and we can see that the Citizens are playing their best football of the year at the moment.

The game in Madrid is bound to see several goals. Both teams play efficient and open-minded football, and the circumstances here are simply forcing both units to keep it up like that. Real needs to attack to erase the minus from England, and on the other side, City won’t defend, be sure about that. This unit has one of the biggest offensive potentials in entire Europe; therefore, they too will be dangerous up front.

Pick: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals 3/5 at BetXchange
