Euro Betting 2016
20. Slovakia
Slovakia don’t seem to be high on anyone’s list especially since their 2-2 against Ireland and 0-0 against Latvia. Can they move up the ranks?
Current betting odds of 150/1
19. Republic of Ireland
Ireland have performed well in the friendlies, beating Switzerland 1-0 and drawing 2-2 to Slovakia. Perhaps a bit more Irish luck will see these boys climbing up the ranks.
Current betting odds of 150/1
18. Sweden
Sweden most recently enjoyed a 1-1 draw against the Czech Republic however betting fans are not sure whether this will be enough to ferry them out of the bottom of the betting odds table. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is most certainly their star and perhaps worth putting some money on.
Current betting odds of 100/1
17. Iceland
Rumour has it that Iceland may be the Leicester City of the Euro 2016. The unassuming team scored 3-2 against Greece and in the qualifiers scored 17 and conceded just 6 goals. Iceland are definitely a team worth betting on.
Current betting odds of 100/1
16. Czech Republic
The Czech Republic seem strong on goal scorers but weak on defenders this year. Coach, Petr Cech has his work cut out for him.
Current betting odds of 80/1
15. Turkey
Turkey have some star players and have been performing well in the friendlies. However Iceland still finished above them in the league and this should be a telling sign.
Current betting odds of 80/1
14. Ukraine
Ukraine doesn’t seem to be the most threatening of sides and just won their friendlies against Cyprus and Wales by a hair.
Current betting odds of 80/1
13. Switzerland
Switzerland are sitting comfortably as a middle of the range team. They finished behind England in their group and seem to be enjoying the Euro ride.
Current betting odds of 66/1
12. Wales
The Welsh team seem to be completely dependent on their stars Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey and their recent performance shows this. Will they improve as the Euro unfolds?
Current betting odds of 66/1
11. Russia
Russia beat Lithuania in the friendlies but lost to France 4-2. This makes them a team that can go one of two ways depending on who they play against. Keep an eye on Russia.
Current betting odds of 66/1
10. Poland
Many say that Poland is completely depending on their star player Robert Lewandowski, some go as far to say that they’re a one man team. They beat Serbia 1-0 and Finland 5-0 so most certainly have had their confidence boosted. Let’s see if this can carry through.

9. Austria
Austria is full of brilliant players including Christian Fuchs (Leicester City), David Alaba (Bayern Munich) and Marko Arnautovic (Stoke City). They also had a near record in qualifying and managed a 2-1 win over Albania. Definitely a team worth watching.
Current betting odds of 40/1
8. Croatia
Classed as an outside favourite, the Croatians are performing well in the friendlies. Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic and Mario Mandzukic make up a strong team and one worth keeping an eye on.
Current betting odds of 33/1
7. Portugal
With Ronaldo as star player anything can happen for this team. They however only scored 11 goals in 8 qualification games which leaves us guessing as to what their overall Euro 2016 performance will be like.
Current betting odds of 20/1
6. Italy
Italy has some of the best defenders in Europe and didn’t lose a single game on their way to the tournament. Can they come back after Germany thumped them 4-1?
Current betting odds of 16/1
5. Belgium
With lethal players such as Romelu Lukaku, Toby Alderweireld, Vincent Kompany and Jan Vertonghen, Belgium is one of this years favourites.
Current betting odds of 19/2
4. England
Some say that England may be one of the best teams this summer. From the gloom of the World Cup they seem to have improved tactics and confidence, beating Germany 2-3 in the friendlies. Watch this space.
Current betting odds of 17/2
3. Spain
With the likes of Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets, two of the worlds best midfielders, Spain seem to be on the attack and fighting to win the Euro. Only time will tell how the Spaniards perform.
Current betting odds of 11/2
2. France
With players such as Hugo Lloris, Laurent Koscielny, Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezman, Anthony Martial, Dimitri Payet, Blaise Matuidi and N’golo Kante as well as a home ground advantage, betting enthusiasts are expecting big things from the French. Do they have what it takes to come out tops? Our betting odds say they do.
Current betting odds of 33/10
1. Germany
Although Germany wasn’t on their best form during the qualifiers they are still considered the best team in Europe. They are known for being better in tournaments than in friendlies and since they have just thumped Italy 4-1 in the friendlies, they are set to be on a winning path.
Current betting odds of 33/10
