BetXchange is here to deliver an English Premier League Gameweek 2 preview. As usual, we are here to give short, precise, and important information and deliver a pick for each EPL game this weekend.

Liverpool vs. Burnley

Liverpool and Burnley open Week 2 of the English Premier League. There is no need to explain why the Reds stand as absolute favorites in this meeting and our pick here is hosts to win with -1.5 goals handicap, with the odds being quite solid on that. The Clarets are well scouted now, and Klopp learned the lessons from the last seasons on how to break their bunker.

Pick: Liverpool -1.5 0.60

Aston Villa vs. Newcastle

Both sides didn’t start well last week, losing their matches, allowing three and four goals, respectively. Watford was better than Aston Villa, while Newcastle suffered a second-half KO to West Ham at St. James Park. The Magpies are not in a good place, with the atmosphere surrounding the club being very toxic. That is why we bet on Villa’s win here.

Pick: Aston Villa to win 0.80

Crystal Palace vs. Brentford

The Eagles are one of the main candidates for the relegation the English bookies suggest. Patrick Viera’s team lost on the road to Chelsea, 3-0, but they really didn’t have any chances to avoid that outcome at Stamford. Brentford opened the season with an incredible victory over Arsenal at home, 2-0, boosting their morale big time. That is why we believe they won’t lose at Selhurst.

Pick: Brentford or Draw 0.50

Leeds vs. Everton

One of the most interesting, if not the most interesting, matches of the round. Leeds lost in Manchester to United, 5-1, while the Toffees made a spectacular comeback against Southampton to win 3-1. Both of these sides like to play open and fast, which is why both teams to score looks like the best possible solution for betting here.

Pick: Both teams to score 0.60

Manchester City vs. Norwich

After a loss in the opener against Tottenham, the Citizens will be keen on bouncing back on the horse right away. The newcomers, Norwich, will feel the rage of the champions at Etihad tomorrow afternoon.

Pick: Man City -2.5 1.00

Brighton vs. Watford

Both teams had a dream start last weekend. The hosts beat Burnley on the road, coming back from behind to win 1-2. As for the Hornets, they would defeat Villa, 3-2, in another wild and crazy match. Our pick here is both teams to score. After fantastic contests and big wins, we are pretty confident that the Seagulls and the Hornets won’t have cautious and conservative approaches.

Pick: Both teams to score 0.78

Southampton vs. Manchester United

The Red Devils are in full speed after a 5-1 victory over Leeds. They come to St. Marry’s with just one thought on their mind, and that is to destroy the Saints, who couldn’t save the advantage against Everton at Goodison. Manchester is a better and more versatile team, and that is why we pick them to win.

Pick: Manchester United 0.90

Wolves vs. Tottenham

Wolverhampton is in trouble, and a minimal loss to Leicester in the opener is a clear proof for that claim. They haven’t been good during the preseason, and to make everything worse, Nuno Espirito Santo comes back to town, only now as the Spurs’ manager. His knowledge of all the Wolves’ players (whom he personally selected) will be the difference here, and our suggestion is Tottenham to win.

Pick: Tottenham 1.35

Arsenal vs. Chelsea

The derby of the round which will be interesting to watch. We would like to stay away from this game because of COVID-19 infections in both. For now, several players have been confirmed as infected, but there are still various tests going on, which makes it very difficult for us to make any predictions.

Leicester vs. West Ham

There couldn’t be a better way to close the round. Two incredibly feisty and courageous team meet at Kings Power. Leicester and West Ham have incredible firepower, and both teams to score should be a piece of cake for them to achieve.

Pick: Both teams to score 0.66
