This weekend produced some #proteafire as well as some upsets in the FA Cup. Here we briefly showcase some betting highlights of the past sporting weekend.

The Proteas ended the series in fine style as they cruised to a 9 wicket victory against England at the Wanderers on Sunday.
After winning Fridays T20 match off the last ball the Proteas had all the momentum coming into the final match on Sunday. England where well placed at 157 for 3 in the 17th over but lost their last 7 wickets for just 14 runs. 171 was a below average score and South Africa chased down the target with 4 overs still to play. AB de Villiers smashed a brutal 73 off 29 balls and Amla scored a dominant 69 off 38 balls. South Africa win the series 2-0 and look in good form going into the ICC World Twenty20 Cup.
Australia ended day 3 in a dominant position against New Zealand in the second test match. In reply to New Zealand’s 1st inning of 370 Australia, posted a formidable 505 all out, before bowling superbly to reduce New Zealand to 121/4, still 14 runs behind at stumps.

Soccer
The FA Cup heads into the quarterfinal stage with Chelsea and West Ham both securing their spots. While Arsenal played to a 0-0 draw against Hull City and will have to win in the replay if they are to be the first team since the 19th Century to win the FA Cup, 3 years in a row. Meanwhile Tottenham Hotspur was knocked out by Crystal Palace.
Chelsea beat Manchester City 5-1, with starting betting odds of predicting that exact score of 44/1

George Coetzee won the Dimension Data Pro-Am by one shot with a final round of 66. Coetzee finished the round birdie-birdie-eagles to snatch victory form leader Dean Burmester on the last hole.
Goerge Coetzee was 5/1 to win the tournament.
Bubba Watson, two time Masters Winner, captured victory at the Northern Trust open. A strong finish by Watson with birdies on 2 of the last 3 holes gave him a final round 68 and a one shot victory. This is his second the Northern Trust Open victory in the last 3 years.
Betting odds at the start of the tournament had Bubba Watson as outright winner at 28/10.
