The second legs of the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals are ahead of us, so we bring the previews and BetXchange odds for all four meetings.
We won’t take too much of your time, but dive into analysis right away.
Barcelona VS PSG
The Catalan team plays exquisite football these days and looks much better than in the past. We’ve seen an incredible rise in their performance over the last several weeks, so it’s nothing strange that the Blaugrana has six consecutive victories and is without a loss for 13 straight matches. From what we saw, the defense is rock solid, allowing one goal in the previous 360 minutes of play.Â

As for PSG, this was the first defeat the Saints experienced since early November or 27 games in a row. Though, we can’t say that Barcelona outplayed them, but still, three goals conceded tell a lot about PSG’s performance. The defense was very fragile, with plenty of flaws, and it seemed as if they allowed goals easily, not challenging Barca’s quick bursts.Â
The game in Barcelona probably won’t be as intensive as the one in Paris because of Barca’s tactical and slow approach. They’ll take the ball and keep it in possession, yet even so, two or three goals should take place.Â
Pick: 2 or 3 goals
Borussia Dortmund VS Atletico Madrid
The Millionaires have an active result from Madrid, where they scored a late goal and revived their hopes for the semis. Though, the way the game started, everyone thought that Borussia might endure a severe and tough loss. When playing at home, the Millionares’ results have looked good in the last three months, with four triumphs and two defeats. There is one piece of data you need to know – Borussia has only one clean sheet at home in the ten most recent played events.Â
Atletico won four of the last five matches, netting at least twice in all those victories. After taking down Inter, they were beaten by Barca at home and then went on to defeat Villarreal, Dortmund, and Girona. They, too, have issues in the back line, having just one in the past 15 contests.Â
After seeing all this, both teams to score looks like the best pick. Why? Well, both of these teams have a problematic and breakable back line, meaning that the chances of witnessing at least a goal on each side are solid.
Pick: Both teams to score
Bayern Munich VS ArsenalÂ
Bayern’s clumsy performances have made it much easier for Bayer Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga title. This year has been a disaster so far for the Bavarians, who still have chances to reach the UCL trophy, but they aren’t looking promising. On the other hand, the pressure of the fans is rather high, and this is a must-win game for them. Eight of the past ten meetings they had were both teams to score, with the defense being terrible.Â
Arsenal started losing its pace in the worst moment. After 2-2 against Bayern at home, they suffered a loss to Aston Villa at the Emirates, and that removed them from the top spot in the standings, with Man City jumping over. A 0-2 shocker killed the positive atmosphere in the stands, but Mikel Arteta should know how to wake up his team.
As in the previous case, the respective defenses have plenty of problems, while the attacks possess high quality and huge talent. So, both teams scoring is the pick here.
Pick: Both teams to score
Manchester City VS Real Madrid
The team from the Etihad will again have a massive clash with Los Blancos. So far, we’ve seen nothing but spectacles in their meetings, and we believe Wednesday’s show will be the same. The Citizens are flying high on morale because of the developments this weekend. Man City is the first in the Premiership standings after a while, which is a huge boost ahead of Real.
The Spaniard is ready for a showdown in England, with all the players in perfect form, except Tchouameni, who is suspended because of yellow cards. Los Blancos’ attack is extremely sharp, and the defense isn’t at the same level, often experiencing blackouts. It is the same with Manchester City.Â
Six goals in the first game and the history of fireworks in the past force us to bet on four or more goals. Some think that’s too high, but in our opinion, that’s the most realistic bet.Â
Pick: Over 3.5 goals
