English Premier League Round 8 kicks off this Friday, and after its closure, we will have a pause due to an international break. This means that all teams are motivated for weekend matches, aiming for a win before a short “holiday.”
Brighton vs. Burnley
The Seagulls are winless in six matches right now, five of them in the English Premier League. Though, Brighton likes to play open and interesting football, with goals on both sides. Five of the last six saw that happening. Meanwhile, the Clarets two hadn’t won in six straight, but they couldn’t score in five during that run.
Pick: Both teams not to score 0.85 BetXChange
Southampton vs. Newcastle
The Saints are in good shape, collecting 13 out of 15 possible points in the last five events. Meanwhile, Newcastle is going up and down, but is still looking solid, especially following a draw against the Wolves and a win over Everton.
Pick: Both teams to score 0.75 BetXChange
Everton vs. Manchester United
This is do or die for Solskjar. There is no more patience for his results and oscillations, especially. Two defeats, one of them against Arsenal and the second a humiliation in Istanbul, have raised the temperature at Old Trafford. Everton had a wonderful start, but they posted a draw and two defeats in the previous three events. Interestingly, in each of them, at least two.
Pick: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals 0.75 BetXChange
Crystal Palace vs. Leeds
An extremely tough matchup for both sides due to absent players. The Eagles have at least half a dozen, and the situation is not much better on the other side. These two sides are inconsistent lately, regardless of whether we look at the efficiency or the results. Solely due to Leeds solid performances on the road (W4, L1) in the previous five, we go with a double chance.
Pick: Draw or Leeds 0.40 BetXChange
Chelsea vs. Sheffield Utd. Preview
The Blues haven’t allowed a goal in the last five games, and have three wins in a row with 10 scores. They are flying very high right now, with the potential to become even better. Arguably the best team in the league comes to Stamford, which means that they shouldn’t have any trouble trashing them.
Pick: Chelsea -1.5 1.15 BetXChange
West Ham United vs. Fulham
The Cottagers finally won a game in the Premiership last week, but now have massive problems with injuries. On the other side, the Hammers had a stretch of five very tough games, meeting some of the biggest candidates for winning the EPL, and providing excellent performances. So don’t hesitate to bet on their win here.
Pick: West Ham 0.83 BetXChange
West Brom vs. Tottenham Preview
The Baggies haven’t’ won since the promotion. Their only success came in the EFL Cup. After that, they’ve experienced constant frustrations. Tottenham is on the rise, and many expect them to start pounding really hard. Right now, they are under the radar, not putting the spotlight on themselves too much.
Pick: Tottenham 0.45 BetXChange
Leicester vs. Wolves Preview
The Foxes are a bit tired from all the obligations, and they have several questionable players for this contest. Yet their form is perfect with five victories in a row, in four with two or more goals scored. Wolves, too, look solid with four straight without a loss, but with under 2.5 in each.
Pick: Moderate efficiency 2 or 3 goals, 1.00 BetXChange
Manchester City vs. Liverpool Preview
The biggest game of the season so far. Two of the biggest title contenders and two most dominant teams in England clash on Sunday. We won’t spend too much time here but advise you to go straight for a high number of goals.
Pick: Over 1.5 HT 1.10 BetXChange
Arsenal vs. Aston Villa
The Gunners hold a win over Manchester, which enormously boosted their morale. They now stand at five wins and a loss in the previous five events, and have the dazzled Villa coming to town. They simply need to use this and win.
Pick: Arsenal 0.65 BetXChange
