2022 European Rugby Challenge Cup – Round 2 Bet Preview:
The second tier of European rugby gets underway once more, following an incredible weekend of opening round action. Cardiff, Toulon, Bristol, and Scarlets were the main beneficiaries on the opening weekend, with plenty of rugby still to be played between now and the end of the campaign.

Following their incredible draw with the Dragons last weekend, the Lions will be eager to put down a marker and assert their position as one of the favourites for the title in 2023. Meanwhile, Stade Francais Paris were made to work hard for their opening day win over Benetton, but it is a result they are sure to take confidence from. This should be a real contrast of playing styles, but Lions should get the job done, in what could be a great watch for the neutral.

Following a hefty opening day defeat to Cardiff, Brive will be looking to start putting points on the board as they welcome Connacht. It was a match where nothing went right for Brive against the side from the Welsh capital, but they will want to prove they do belong at this level. Connacht meanwhile picked up a solid opening round win over highly-fancies Newcastle and they will be out to back that result up here. This one will be closer than the odds suggest but the momentum could well be with Connacht.

Glasgow Warriors will be looking to build on their impressive opening win at Bath, as they take on Perpignan. For the Warriors, staying in the hunt this season will be key – as they look to put pressure on the sides above them. Perpignan meanwhile were well beaten by Bristol last time out and they will be all too aware of the magnitude of the task here. As a side, Perpignan are never easy to beat but Glasgow should have too much for them in front of their home fans.
