With three rounds to go, the La Liga title is almost decided. Barcelona has won the El Clásico and now has seven points more than Real. However, Los Blancos still have chances, and as long as that’s the case, Carlo Ancelotti’s unit won’t back down or give up.

The battle for fifth place, the last which leads to the UEFA Champions League, is still on, and Betis and Villarreal wage war. The Yellow Submarine is in a better position, having three more points, but Anthony, Isco, and the boys won’t give up, no matter that they play the Conference League finals.

The race for the other two European competitions is fierce as well, and we have several teams chasing Europe. Down at the bottom, Las Palmas, Leganes, and Alaves are in trouble, yet Sevilla, Girona, Espanyol, and Getafe aren’t safe either.

More on that in the upcoming few paragraphs. For all those who want to explore La Liga odds, here they are.

Barca is one step away from the title, theory with Real

Beating Real 4-2 in El Clásico brought Barcelona one win away from the title. And they can secure it against their fierce rivals, Espanyol, this Thursday. The hosts battle to stay in the league, and points are needed. However, there won’t be anything sweeter for Barca fans than to secure the title and push their rivals to Segunda if possible.

Real hosts Mallorca, which is chasing Europe. Ancelotti is set to leave the team at the end of the season and take over Brazil, while Xabi Alonso lands at Bernabeu. All this is clear, but the team has no right to slow down or give up on the title, although the fans already did that.

Their chances of reaching Barca are practically virtual, but the club’s reputation prevents them from thinking like that.

UCL – Villarreal or Betis

Both teams have a tough schedule in the remaining three rounds. Villarreal hosts Leganes, then goes to Barca before hosting Sevilla. Meanwhile, Betis plays the Conference League finals but has Rayo on the road, Atletico on the road and Valencia at home.

Villarreal has three more points, meaning this will be a very rough and intense battle until the last round.

Europa and the Conference League madness

The difference between 7th place and 12th place is 6 points. So, this describes the current situation with the teams playing three more matches and 9 points in circulation.

Celta, Rayo, Mallorca, Valencia, Osasuna and Real Sociedad are in the mix for two places which lead to Europe.

The relegation race is even crazier

Getafe, in the 13th place, has 39 points, while 19th Las Palmas has 32. Leganes is the first team below the red line with 34 points, and Alaves has one point more in 17th place. So we can witness one of the most interesting relegation battles in the past few years.

The only sure thing here is that Valladolid lost all the chances to stay in La Liga a long time ago, collecting only 16 points in 35 games so far.

Next weekend we will have the direct clash between Leganes and Las Palmas, which will be interesting to watch. Espanyol meets Las Palmas too.

All in all, maybe the title race is over in Spain, but it’s far from dull in La Liga. There are three more rounds to go, and many teams have plenty to lose or gain. Don’t miss a shred of the action; stay tuned, follow us, and find out the latest La Liga odds and info.
