We are ready for another round of La Liga action this weekend as leaders Getafe – of all teams – try to continue their early season form while the big guns chase them down. Here is a look at three key games for the weekend.
Atletico has played just two games so far this season and they have a win and a draw to show for their efforts. Villarreal, by contrast, has played four games and they have seven points after two wins, one draw, and one defeat from their opening set of fixtures,
The recent history in this one is with Atletico as the Yellowmarine of Villarreal has failed to beat their opponents from the capital in any league game since the 2017-18 season. Atletico will be without Jose Gimenez after a positive Coronavirus test, while Sime Vrsaljko also misses out in this one.
Villarreal has ain injury issue in the left-back spot with three players – including Alberto Moreno and Alfonso Pedraza – faced with the prospect f missing out. Francois Coquelin also misses out, so a foil for Dani Parejo in the center of midfield needs to be found.
Barcelona vs Sevilla
Barca and Sevilla sit fifth and sixth in the early season table with each team boasting two wins out of two thus far. The Catalan side has yet to concede a goal this term and they have a +7 goal difference after convincing wins over Villarreal and Celta Vgo. Ansu Fati is their player to watch after an impresive and at times dominant start to the season.
Sevillia are also sitting on twqo wins and zero defeata aftewr two games. They first took down Cadiz before putting Levante to the sword just a few days later. This is, however, a fixture that has not been kind to Sevilla in recent years. Barca has won 13 of 16 against their opponetsn this weekdn in all competiotns and it would take a brave bettor to back Sevilla outright here,
I actually fancy Sevilla to produce a big upset here at 4.24 to win with BetXChange.
Levante vs. Real Madrid
This looks like a mismatch on paper. Real has picked up seven points from their three games so far and sit third in the table, while Levante has just three points from a possible nine and sits in 13th place heading into this round of fixtures.
Levante will be without Hernani and Cheick Doukoure as both are suffering from injury. Real will be without the services of Dani Carvajal as he faces a couple of months off of the pitch after picking up a knee injury. Eden Hazard will also miss out with a niggle, though they will be boosted by the news that Eder Militao could feature in the matchday squad.
