The future of PSG’s contract rebel Adrien Rabiot has dominated much of the transfer speculation over the summer so far. However, it appears that he finally set to make his decision and join Italian champions Juventus.

He revealed in an interview with Corriere dello Sport that he has held productive talks with the Turin based side but remains open about his future.

It had been thought that the French midfielder would opt for a move to Old Trafford and play a massive role in the rebuilding job undertaken by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. United have already announced the signing of Welsh midfielder Daniel James from Swansea, but fans’ of the Red Devils have been crying out for bigger name arrivals.

Rabiot would fit the bill of what is needed at United. The midfield is a box-to-box player and has scored 25 goals in 240 appearances at PSG. He had been an integral member of the team prior to the stall in contract negotiations. After he revealed he would not be resigning with the French champions, he was immediately dropped by manager Thomas Tuchel.

Juventus will be keen to add the midfielder to their ranks, and any potential move could see their Champions League chances improved. At present they are priced at 8/1 with BetXChange to win the European competition next season.
