Chock-a-block DStv Premiership fixtures continues with another round of intriguing matches scheduled for this weekend with SuperSport United playing their third match in ten days in all competitions. This round of matches also sees SuperSport United and Swallows with a chance of closing the gap on log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns to two points. Sundowns are not in league action this weekend as they have turned their attention to the Caf Champions League where they are hosting Al-Hilal Omdurman of Sudan in the first match of the group stages on Saturday at Loftus.

On the other hand, Chippa United will be looking to return back to winnings ways after they lost 2-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns in their last league match. Celtic are favourites to get all the three points in thus match.

SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo has admitted that the short turnaround of matches is beginning to take its toll on his players with the congested fixture leading to an increasing injury count to key players. Their mission of closing the gap on log-leaders Mamelodi Sundowns to two points is not going to be easy as they are up against stubborn Cape Town City.
