The UEFA Champions League is one step away from the title match. Four teams already played the first legs of their respective semis, and the rematches are now on. Both English teams have excellent results, but on the other hand, their respective rivals won’t back out that easily. BetXChange brings the preview for Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s events, so stay tuned.
Manchester City vs PSG
PSG’s blitz from the first match didn’t go through as City responded very, very confidently, flipping the result and heading home with a 1-2 win in their pocket. This is yet another massive proof that Guardiola’s team is finally ready to go all the way. Though, they looked like that during 2020, but COVID-19 spoiled the Citizens’ plans. The year before, it was VAR and Tottenham, and the year before Liverpool. We’ll see if something similar happens now.
City defeated Crystal Palace 0-2 on the road this Saturday, playing with 50% of their power. This was the 8th time in the last 10 games that Guardiola’s team has a moderate efficient match, meaning that it concluded with 2 or 3 goals.
On the other side, PSG defeated Lens 2-1, and the notable pattern for the Parisians is that lately, they often allow goals. To be exact, only once in the past 10 games, this team managed to keep its net intact. And that is something that needs to worry Pochettino.
As for Tuesday’s encounter, our prediction here is to bet on a moderate efficiency. Man City will hold the ball in its possession as long as possible, and we know that Citizens can go on like this the whole day. Meanwhile, PSG is a bit limited when they need to control the pace and the rhythm against better teams. They often close and wait for counter-attacks which is how they got here. For the braver ones, go with City’s another win, but our primary suggestion here is 2 or 3 goals.

Chelsea vs. Real Madrid
Tuchel and his wonder-defense have been stunning the world game after game. That is what happened in Madrid once Blues managed to get out with a draw, 1-1, even though they entered the match as heavy underdogs.
We need to say that Chelsea looked more dangerous than the hosts, who are, in our opinion, much weaker than their results show. Do remember that Real had a lot of luck against Atalanta and Liverpool, with the opposite sides facing numerous problems and blows during the matchups. But still, their tactical play and individual quality is fantastic, which is why Los Blancos reached this part of the UCL.
As for Chelsea, they beat Fulham on Saturday, 2-0, and that was the fourth clean sheet for Mendy and the backline in recent five meetings. The biggest problem for this crew is Timo Werner’s consistency, as we saw that the German striker oscillates enormously.
Real was better than Osasuna, 2-0, which was their 19th match in a row without a loss. But to be honest, they haven’t been winning too often as well in the last six games – only twice. Zidane’s defense was marvelous during that period, conceding only against Chelsea and preventing the rivals from hitting the target in the remaining five games.
After seeing that these two teams play defensive-minded and cautious football, the only reasonable proposition here is betting on under 2.5 goals.
