It could be argued that of all the top tier clubs in the Premier League it is Arsenal that needs to make the biggest splash this summer.

Humiliated by Chelsea in the Europea League final, the Gunners face another year of European football in the same competition next season after finishing behind North London rivals Spurs and taking fifth place in the Premier League last season.

Knowing that new faces need to be brought in, especially if the rumoured deal that would take Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to China is true, Arsenal are attempting to strike fast this summer.

There first signing looks like it is all but completed, with the Gunners set to bring Yannick Carrasco back from his own one year sabbatical in China.

The 25-year-old Belgian international winger spent one year playing for Dalian Yifang after leaving Atletico Madrid at the end of the 2017-18 season. Carrasco is looking to move back to Europe, however, with Arsenal appearing favourites to claim his signature in the next few days.

Arsenal are currently sixth favourites to win the Premier League at odds of 25.00 on BetXChange.
