It has not been a good week for Arsenal fans. The Gunners were humiliated by cross-city rivals Chelsea in the Europa League final last Wednesday, and now it has emerged that their best player from last season is wanted by other clubs.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shared the 2018-19 Premier League Golden Boot with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane. He scored 22 goals over the course of the Gunners league campaign and added another 14 in other competitions, including eight in Europe.

His goal production would be stunningly hard to replace, but he has worried Arsenal fans by removing all references to the club from his social media accounts amid rumours of interest from the Chinese Super League.

Reports suggest that the Gabon international has been offered as much as 300,000 pounds a week to play in China, with both Guangzhou Evergrande and Shanghai SIPG wanting to claim his signature on those wages.

Arsenal have seemingly been in rebuild mode ever since the Invincibles season of 2003-04. They are currently the sixth favourite at 25.00 to win the league and they are 1.15 to claim a Top 4 finish with BetXchange.
