Smart Call shocked a top field to win the J&B Met at Kenilworth. Smart Call (15-2) had an outside chance with some recent good form, but most pundits were unconvinced she could match the strong field with the likes of Legal Eagle, Future and Legislate. However, Smart Call produced a superb race and cruised to a 3 length victory. Legal Eagle(15-10) placed second with Captain America(8-1) taking third. Smart Call could just be the new “wonder filly”.
